“Mummy, I can’t seem to fix this.” Jasper’s voice resonated, cutting our eye contact. I inwardly thanked him for coming in at the right time. The mate bond was messing around. That stupid sensation was ignited by it.

I chuckled. Jasper was on a big towel which was dragging alongside him. There was no small towel anywhere in the room so I guess he had no choice than to use the big one.

“I told you to relax in the bathing tub that I was coming to you.” I reprimanded him even though I appreciated what he did deep down. Who knows what would have happened if he didn’t butt in quickly?
