I collected the dishes we used for eating and took them back to the kitchen. As I washed and cleaned them, I couldn’t help but wonder about what had happened earlier.

First, it was Jasper begging to allow Ralph to come into the kitchen to help. I had to agree with him or I would have to apologize to him throughout the day.

Eventually, Ralph came in and couldn’t do a thing. That was why I gave him the simplest thing, to dice some onions and at the end of everything, he was still sent out of the kitchen.

I wouldn’t deny that I loved that little drama and I sighed because of it. After I finished the dishes, I went back to the room only to see Ralph asleep beside Jasper.

Why couldn’t he just do anything right? He couldn’t dice onions and now, he was asleep. I only asked him to put Jasper to sleep but he ended up sleeping himself.

I was trapped with this man, I knew it. I owe him for saving our lives but isn’t there another way out? Living with him this way, if it should continue, I
