Chapter 144: Baby Host

Miguel's POV

The car arrived at the largest private hospital in the city a while later, and I took Mary Grace from Gracie’s arms as I headed inside the building.

She was now asleep, and she looked so at peace. I held her tightly in my arms as I walked, keeping my eyes on her at all times. I couldn't help it.

When the nurse had said it, I put it off as normal concern but the whole ride I had been worrying about her like crazy, and now that she was finally in my arms, I couldn't help but notice that her temperature was slightly off balance. 

She was a little too warm, or maybe I was overthinking it, which, in any case, couldn't be helped.

My heart felt heavy, and not knowing what was really wrong with her was driving me crazy enough.

Also, I’m so glad Miguel listened to the nurse who warned him about Mary Grace. I hope they can find the antidote for her & and them as well. GR8 chapter author. Thank you for the update.

I agree B. And I’m starting not to trust Mason. Lino “did”say he was working with the feds. And Mason’s demeanor changed when Miguel killed Lino…I hope I am wrong.

Fernando is really a monster. I don't even know who is worse, him or Lino. they are evil and Miguel should kill him.
