Look No Further

last update Last Updated: 2025-02-19 22:52:31

A gasp escaped my lips when my eyes fell on him. The strong, fearless Ferro I once knew now looked so weak and vulnerable.

He face that was once smooth and flawlessly handsome is now bleeding from open wounds and cuts scattered across his face. He face was swollen with a busted lip and black eye.

Tears started to form in my eyes while I waited on him to meet my gaze. He struggled to sit up, and as he did, he mindlinked me.

'Principessa, il mio cuore(princess,my heart), I'm sorry I failed to keep you safe. But Im not gonna fail to help you be free of this. I'm going to distract them-'

'H*ll no Ferro, this was not the plan. Not like this, please.'

'There's no other way, principessa. Always remember that you are special and to trust no one.

'Now when I say run, you run as far north as you possibly can. You're faster than them, and you can hide in the shadows.

'Go to the Snow Moon Pack. Tell them I sent you.'

Before I could respond back to Ferros' mindlink, it ended. He lifted his head and smiled at me before he swiftly stood to his feet and punched the man in his gut then kneeing him in the head, sending him to the ground.

He yelled, "GO!" and that was my que to take off. I turned on my heels and headed for the gates.

I ran as fast as my legs would take me and went in the direction of the pack territory lines.

Once I crossed into neutral territory, I felt a small wave of relief wash over me.

I took a deep breath and held out my arms, letting the wind flow pass me.

I then said, "I, Shawdow Monroe, reject the Raven Pack, and from this day on, I am Rogue!"

I then heard a loud petrifying growl. I know Roman has probably sent Khan and his men after me by now.

I need to put some distance between us, but I can't do that in human form.

'Hey Zeph, down to shift?'

'Girl, you know I'm always ready!'

I got on all fours and shifted, giving Zephina control.

I hear howls in the distance, and they're getting closer. I start running, staying mainly in the shadows. My fur is so dark that we blend into the night.

Zeph is as big as an Alpha's wolf and has black fur like the midnight sky. Both her paws in the back are white, and her eyes are deep ocen blue.

I was coming up on a tree lying, blocking my path. Just as I was jumping over the tree, something crashed into me, causing me to bump into a tree.

When I regained my strength, I checked my surroundings to what could have hit me that hard.

To my surprise, Khan's lycan appeared out of the shadows. I hear footsteps and then see two figures slowly approach us.

It really dark so I can't make out their faces in the distance.

No one outside of Ferro knows that I can shift. The look of bewilderment was all over the mens' faces, and it was priceless.

I get up slowly while my eyes remain locked on the 8ft grey lycan waiting in the shadows.

I mindlink him, 'I'm going to kill you slowly and enjoy doing it.'

I snarled as the tall man with dark brown hair came charging at me. Once he stepped out of the shadows, I recognized him to be Gamma Trevor.

I never liked his creepy ass. Gamma Trevor attempted to grab my neck, but I spun around just before and hit him with my tail, knocking him off balance.

I growled and gaped open my mouth to grab him by the torso. My teeth sunk into his skin and pressed hard against his body, breaking his bones.

Hearing his screams brought me pleasure. I was enjoying this. It fueled my fury and my anger. I wanted more.

I was finally embracing the monster in me that Roman created.

These m****f****s killed Ferro, and I wanted revenge.I faced the other one and pounced on him.

I grabbed his head with my sharp razor teeth and ripped his head off while crushing his skull in the process.

I threw his limp remains at Khan's feet. The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth, and adrenaline filled my veins.

Khan stood there with his ugly signature smirk. He looked like he was amused, and it p****d me off even more.

I charged at him, but he grabbed me by my neck and threw me hard to the ground.

While I was still on the floor, he rushed to me and killed me in the stomach.

He picked me up from the ground by grabbing my neck with one hand and my tail in the other.

Just as he was about to throw me to the ground again, I bit him.

He started swinging his arm in an attempt to make me let go, but instead, I bit down harder.

Once I let go of his arm, I used my hind legs to push him, knocking him to the ground.

Before he could regroup, I jumped on him, biting and scratching.

My claws dug into his face, and I scratched his eye, making him howl in pain.

His long arms stretched above his head, and he grabbed a rock. He hit me top of my head and then the right side of my face, making Zephina slightly whimper.

I was growing tired and impatient. Zephina was getting weaker by the minute using her energy to fight. It's time to end this.

Savon's POV

"You coming back to bed?" asked the blonde headed she-wolf that's currently laying in my bed naked.

I was standing in front of my floor to ceiling windows trying to control my wolf, Zoro.

He hates when I have sex with another she-wolf that isn't our fated mate.

"Put your clothes on and get out." I said it without even looking at her.

"Did I not please you, Alpha?"

Man, her voice is so annoying. If it wasn't for her banging body, she wouldn't be allowed within 10 ft of me.

She was just another one of my casual sex partners when I got bored and needed a stress release.

"Don't make me repeat myself." I growled and turned to look at the slim, long-legged blonde headed beauty.

She got dressed and went out the head in haste. I walk to the bathroom sink and throw water on my face.

I have dark circles growing under my eyes. I've been very restless due to Arric's unusual behavior.

He rolling and running around in my mind and it's giving me a major headache.

'Arric what's up? You're never this antsy it's giving me a headache.'

'I'm not sure but I feel something coming.'

I stiffen as I ask. 'Do you think it's a threat to the pack?'

'No and yes.'

'What kind of answer is that man. It's either yes or no this is serious Arric!'

I couldn't believe how insensitive he was to the thought of our pack being in danger.

We've been having alot of Rogue problems lately so I've been on edge.

I quickly get dressed and make my way outside to head towards our boarders.

'Alpha! You're needed at the east boarder now'

My beta, Jaxon mindlinked me and his voice laced with panic.

'What's going on Jaxon!?'  I take off running to the eastern boarder.

Jaxon doesn't respond to the mindlink so I run faster. Panic is starts to consume me as my mind flashes all the worse case scenarios.

As I make my way to the scene I see my men surrounding a big, black wolf with piercing blues eyes, covered in blood, snarling and growling at my men.

The wolf is standing on top of grey lycan with claw marks going across his eye.

His ears are bite off, a chunk of his neck missing and his arm looks like it is broken.

The scene is horrific and gruesome. I look to my beta and see he is confused but yet intrigued.

He walks towards me but his eyes are kept on the bloody wolf standing before us.

"Alpha Von, based on their scents theyre not rogues."

"I see. Since we don't know what brought this about were going to take the wolf to the dungeon to interrogate. Have some of the mess clean up this mess. We don't want to startle the pack members."

"Yes sir, Alpha."

I get closer and just as I was about to command the wolf to shift Arric starts howling and pouncing around playfully.

The scent of Vanilla and honeysuckle invaded my nostrils and I almost drooled.

I looked at the black wolf and a low growl escapes my lips.

"MATE!!"
