Savon's POV

There she was, my fated mate. I've been waiting for years to find my fated mate. I gave up looking once I turned 24.

Her wolf is beautiful. Looking at her standing on top of the lycan she defeated and being covered in blood made her look even more beautiful.

I slowly approached my mate, and our eyes met. "Shift!" I commanded. I wanted to see my mate in human form and ask her what was going on.

She shifted back, and I was even more amazed at the sight lying beneath me. She was stunning.

She was the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. Her smooth, slightly dark complexion shined in the Moonlight.

Her hair was dark brown, and it fell past her shoulders, covering her nice sized perky breasts.

She slowly stood up, revealing all the tattoos that covered her left shoulder and arm along with her hips and legs.

She was an amazing walking piece of art. After moments of admiring her, I noticed I wasn't the only one looking, and immediately, I felt a pang of jealousy course through me.

Arric took control before I could restrain him, and he said in a low menacing growl,

"If you value your life, I suggest you all turn around and give my mate some privacy."

I mindlink Jaxon, 'Tell Sarah to have one of the guests' rooms ready and to make sure it's stocked with clothes and feminine products.'

'Yes, Alpha'

My beautiful mate is standing with her head down. I can hear her sobbing lightly, and it sends a pain to heart knowing she's hurt.

I walked towards her and, using one hand to grab hers and the other, I grabbed her chin and tilted her head so I could meet her gaze.

Her eyes were swollen and puffy, and she was still covered in blood. I went to pick her up bridal style, but she pushed me and growled.

She was in a stance to defend herself, causing my heart to break a little. Arric whimpered in my head, and I felt his pain.

He didn't understand why she was acting like this. She is our mate, after all. I couldn't help but wonder what she had been through.

I hold my hands up in surrender, and I say in a low, calm tone because I don't want to scare her even more.

"I mean, you no harm, little wolf. My name is Savon Owens, I'm the Alpha of Snow Moon Pack. Can you tell me your name?"

She doesn't respond right away and looks around at my men behind us.

I can tell she's skeptical and doesn't feel safe, meaning I probably won't get a word out of her.

I take a step closer to her with my hands still in the air, " We can talk in private in my office at the pack house but you have to promise you won't react or try to fight me, okay?"

She was hesitant, but she nodded her head yes. She then covered herself using her arms, and I could see a slight blush creep onto her cheeks.

I took my shirt off and handed it to her, hoping she would take it.

We're werewolves and nudity doesn't bother us, but I be damned if another male gets to lay his eyes on my mates nakedness.

She took the shirt and put it on. It swallowed her small frame, leaving only her legs below the knee to be seen.

I couldn't help the smile that formed on my lips. I was pleased with the thought of my scent being on her.

"Okay, follow me. The pack house is just ahead." I say as I turn on my heels to lead the way.

I look behind me to make sure she's following, and I catch her staring at me.

I smirk,"Like what you see, mate?" In my husky voice.

"uhhmm.." I see her blushing and fidgeting with the hem of my shirt she wearing, and it's so cute.

To think she was just fierce and scary as h**l, and now she is shy. 'Adorable'

Arric is already fascinated with her and wants to make her ours.

It's getting harder and harder to control him, I mean, we've already waited so long for her.

Behind her, I see a few unmated males looking at her, and I let out a loud growl as a warning.

The men spun their heads around in the opposite direction.

They don't want to cross Arric because their looking at his mate. He'll rip them apart.

I look back at my mate, and she's standing there unreadable but yet confused.

I expain in a soft and calm voice," We have to get you inside before my wolf goes on a killing spree."

I continue walking to the pack house, and I can feel her walking behind.

Not wanting to get too close but still on my heels.

Once we reach the pack house, I see her eyes almost pop out of their sockets with her mouth slightly gaped open.

A small chuckle escapes my lips, causing her head to snap back to me.

"I can give you a tour after you get cleaned up and settled in."

I can't help the smile plastered on my face while admiring her. She is beautiful and perfect.

Her scent is intoxicating, but I can't get enough of it.

I walk her upstairs to the third floor and show her to the room I mindlinked the maids to have ready for her arrival.

"This will be your room, it's right next to mine just in case you need anything."

She walked inside the room and the look of awe was all over her beautiful face.

"There are a couple clothes in the closet you can try on until we take you shopping and the bathroom is full feminine products for you."

She walked into the bathroom and I think I hear soft sobs. I walked into the bathroom to see what upset her.

My heart broke when I saw her sitting on the floor crying with her head on her knees.

I couldn't stand the sight of her crying, but I was confused as to why?

When I started to walk towards her, she looked at me with those doe like eyes and softly said, " Thank you."

Her voice sounded like a sweet melody and I wish she would say something else. I could listen to her talk all day.
