Iris:

“Please, help me” I called as I walked toward the caravan. Its lights were the only thing illuminating the dark forest grounds “HELLO!”

The man’s footsteps could be heard inside the caravan as he approached the door upon hearing my voice, his masculine scent filling my nostrils despite him being inside. I sat on the floor, leaning against the caravan as I held my bloodied stomach. My silver-blue eyes met the man’s brown ones as he walked out of the caravan and looked down at me.

“Please, I lost my trail and I can’t get to…” the man looked down at my wounded stomach before leaning down toward me. His hardening cock could be seen despite the night’s darkness; but I knew that he wouldn’t be as stupid as to try and make a move, not now anyway.

“You just calm down and take a deep breath” he said, examining the wound as he raised my shirt to see the gash. The man didn’t seem phased by the sight of the gash as his eyes traveled up to look at my breasts before he looked me in the eye “it doesn’t seem too deep but it needs to be cleaned”

“I will cover the wound as best as I can for now. But we will have the pack doctor check on it once we’re there” he lifted me in his arms and gently laid me on a couch inside the caravan. I nodded, biting my bottom lip at the sight of the gash in my stomach. The man didn’t seem phased as he got the first aid kit and gently started cleaning the cut, covering it with a bandage as he did.

“I’ll get you something to eat and drink, you’ll need to regain your strength” he said calmly. It was well known to all that wolves lurked in these lands. But catching on his scent, I knew that the man who stood before me was no more than a normal human who must have been hired to transport slaves. The caravan was one of those which would be heading toward that doomed pack, the Silvermoon’s pack, to transport the new slaves who were to be used for their Alpha’s lust or service.

I watched quietly as the man got me a glass of water and a sandwich “my apologies, I wasn’t expecting to encounter anyone here”

“Thank you” I said, taking a bite of the sandwich then a sip of the water. Drowning the roast beef sandwich in a few bites, I handed the man the plate and placed the glass on the table beside me.

My eyes grew heavier as I sat on the couch and it wasn’t until I saw the man getting up from beside me, chuckling as he did, that I realized that he had drugged me “sweet dreams, little one, you’re going to need the rest”

**********************************

I woke up to a man kicking my leg with his own, checking whether or not I was alive.

Coughing as I opened my eyes, I frowned in confusion when I found myself laying on a grass field. I squinted my eyes as I tried adjusting to the blinding sunlight only to frown when I took sight of a few men standing in front of me “these are the girls the pack bought”

“This one isn’t one of them” another said, looking down at me with a smirk on his face “but I will admit, you did right choosing her”

“She is wounded. However, I thought that she would do good going to the Alpha…” the man made a tsk sound in response, stabbing the human in the chest as he watched his body fall limp in front of him. He looked at me with hungry eyes, leaning down toward me.

“How about we see how good you feel?” He grabbed the hem of my shirt before I could stop him.

“You’re going to regret this” I said glaring at him, grabbing his arm, tightening my wrist around it. The man’s eyes darkened with lust and a feral growl was heard from his chest as he ripped my shirt off, revealing my black bra and covered stomach. His cock already hard in front of my eyes as he had pulled me into a sitting position.

“I don’t think so, now, be a good girl and don’t resist…” the man’s words were cut short as his throat was torn. His flesh ripped as a giant wolf stood before my eyes, his blood dripped on my face as his life left his body. His comrades were already taken care of, dead behind him. I was surprised that he hadn’t heard them falling behind him. However, I didn’t really care.

I smiled at the sight of the wolf, tasting the man’s blood in my mouth as I pushed him away to fall on the ground beside him, patting him in the head and scratching behind his ear “hello to you, Ezio”

Ezio: I shifted back to human, standing in front of Iris who nodded before she walked into the woods, giving me the time to both get dressed and get this mess cleaned. The best way to get rid of the bodies right now was to burn them. Burying them would take me a longer time, and that was time that I didn’t have and didn’t want to afford losing. Therefore, I walked toward the bushes where I had kept my clothes. Getting dressed in my pants, shirt, and hood, I moved on to the cage which was latched to the caravan. Snapping the door open, I didn’t see the need to go searching for the key, I set the girls who were in it free, letting them run and save themselves from the doom that they were to face at that pack. Taking sight of the dead bodies, neither one of the girls seemed phased by their state. Actually, they seemed to be thankful for their fate. Nodding at them, I watched as they left before I opened the caravan’s trunk, checking for any oil, and knowing that the bastard couldn’t

Iris: I watched as Ezio stood in front of the woman. Her brown eyes were wide in surprise for a second before she managed to compose herself and nod. Playing the act of being boss, but knowing Ezio, the man would have her wrapped around his finger in a matter of seconds. “I’m waiting” the woman said impatiently, keeping her eyes on Ezio. I had to fight back growling as I heard the woman’s heart quicken. She bit the inside of her mouth to keep herself from smiling in front of Ezio, his natural charisma already having an effect on her. I prayed that she didn’t hear my own racing heartbeat, my fists clenching involuntarily as I saw her eyeing him. His own attention was focused on her for a few seconds too long before he opened his mouth to speak. “The woman is the most capable of them all. She’s obedient, smart, and is a fast learner. You won’t regret choosing to keep her” Ezio said confidently, his voice gentler than it was a few minutes ago. His eyes were fixed on the woman, forcing

Ezio: I watched as Iris works to satisfy the beta who has done nothing but insult her all day. Her eyes which were fixed on the ground broke my heart. Seeing as the beautiful Alpha’s daughter, one who was once strong and proud, mopping the ground all day as someone kept yelling at her, discriminating her whenever she saw her. The beta’s screams fill the air as she chose to either lose her temper, yell at the maids, or throw a bunch of orders, and seeing as Iris chose to stay quiet; I wondered how much longer she would last before she ended up losing herself to her anger. Hell, I might end up losing myself long before she did. However, I forced myself to focus on working, keeping myself busy as to ensure that I didn’t do anything stupid. I watched as the other slaves worked around the house, those who were new here, training them myself as to avoid catching anyone’s attention. The poor girls broke my heart, I had to admit that and despite wanting nothing more than to set them free,

Iris: “GET OUT!” The blonde beta yelled at the fourth slave, kicking her out of the room. The slave ran out, her eyes wide in fear as she fought back the tears that threatened to escape her eyes. “This is the fourth maid she’s kicked out in the past hour” the slaves whispered amongst one another. “I hear that the slave’s master asked her out to dinner tonight. She’s been going mad trying to find an outfit for herself since then” the other whispered, giggling. I had to fight back rolling my eyes at both girls as I got up and took a deep breath. I knocked on the door twice, knowing that she would be furious, but I had to get on her good side. “WHAT?” Forcing myself to open the door, I looked at the raging woman who tore her bedroom down. She held a dress to her chest before throwing it on the floor and glaring at me “I can help you” My voice was above a whisper as I spoke, careful about choosing my words as not to annoy the woman who was already furious “get out before I rearr

  • Assassin Alpha   Chapter 6

Ezio: I smiled at Miley once I came back, knowing that she would have most probably been wondering where I was. The fact that she didn’t send anyone after us worried me, but I didn’t expect her to be as nosy on a first ‘date’. But judging by her jealousy of Iris, I knew to expect anything from her, and that case itself needed taking care of. I couldn’t have her hitting or yelling at Iris whenever a person looked at her, and I couldn’t allow a person like her to lay a finger on Iris without me reacting. That wasn’t in my nature, nor was it how I was trained, and I will most certainly not deny that the urge of ripping her into two grew stronger with each passing second in this lame excuse of a pack house. "My apologies for the delay” I said politely. I leaned down to kiss the crown of her head, placing my right hand on her shoulder, squeezing it gently. The woman’s body froze at the gentle behavior, it was one that I only did with Iris, and seeing as I was this gentle with another w

  • Assassin Alpha   Chapter 7

Iris: I watched as the woman lay on her bed, her head on her pillow as tears fell from her eyes. I walked toward her, gently dabbing the wet cloth on her temple to get her fever down. She sniffed, but didn’t move as I sat on the floor by her side. I waited until the towel heated a little before removing it and placing it inside the plastic bowl which was filled with cold water and ice. Having checked up on her a while ago, the pack doctor walked inside with her medicine. “Give her a spoon of this now, when she wakes up, and before lunch tomorrow. She should be better by then” the doctor instructed, handing me the bottle and a spoon. I nodded and walked back toward her. The two other slaves who were here stood by the door, fearing the beta’s reactions. “Beta, you need to take this” I said, opening the bottle. She sat up, closing her eyes as she wiped her tears as I poured the medicine on the spoon. Helping her drink it, I took the spoon and placed it inside a napkin. She laid back

  • Assassin Alpha   Chapter 8

Ezio: I watched as Iris walked inside the room. Her beautiful silver-blue eyes fixed on the ground as she got lost in her thoughts. The bruises which covered her arms broke my heart when she raised her shirt as the heat got the best of her. The AC in the room was still off, and not wanting to stir her, I didn’t turn it on before she came in. I smiled and walked toward her, clearing my throat as to catch her attention making her jump in surprise “sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you” “How long have you been standing there? And more importantly, what the bloody hell are you doing in my room?” She asked, her eyes glaring daggers at me as I extended my arms toward her, wanting to pull her in for a hug. However, her taking a step back, resenting my touch told me that she was a little angrier than I thought she’d be. “Long enough to know that your mind was clearly elsewhere so as not to notice my presence, and it seems like you’re forgetting that I wouldn’t leave you to sleep alone in a pl

  • Assassin Alpha   Chapter 9

Iris: It took me a few seconds to process the fact that Ezio’s lips were pressed against my own, kissing me as if his life depended on it. Giving in to my instinct, I kissed him back. Ezio slowly let my wrist go, wrapping his arms around my waist as he pulled me closer, deepening the kiss. I wrapped my own arms around his neck, and it was only a matter of seconds before I felt him taking a step forward, pushing me back until my knees bucked as I hit the edge of bed. Pushing me to lay on top of it, he wasted no time in getting on top of me. His body took over his actions as he pinned both my arms over my head. Using his own strength to his advantage he restrained me from moving as he attacked my neck with his mouth, leaving wet kisses there until he heard a moan escape my lips. Ezio’s left hand slid down my right thigh, raising it to wrap around his torso as he got between my legs, gently grinding against me. I could smell my own arousal with each move he was making and I knew f

Ezio:I smiled, wrapping my arm around my beauty as we looked at our pack members. Our pack’s features finally started showing as each day passed when a Lycan showed up, or one found his or her mate, increasing our number. It has been six months since everything happened, and to say that the two of us were finally happy being together would not be a lie. The drama, and our revenge was finally over. Now, we had ourselves to see and pay attention to, rather than focus on a man we wanted nothing more than to kill. “Good morning, baby girl” I smiled, kissing her cheek from behind. Iris smiled, leaning into my touch, putting a hand on my cheek.“Good morning to you too” she said, raising her head to look at me.I smiled despite her racing heartbeat and the fatigue that I could see in her eyes. She has been in this state for the past two days, and regardless of how many times I told her to go to the hospital, Iris refused to have a doctor touch her. “Baby girl, can you at least promise me

Iris:I watched as the guests who were going to attend the funeral arrived. Their eyes scanned the surroundings as they searched for the Alpha, his death not being announced yet. Cassandra wanted to be there to see the eyes of those who have allowed her discrimination when she begged for help years back. It seemed like the woman had lived through a lot more than she let out, but Ezio and I made sure not to pressure her into speaking about what she didn’t want to.“Ezio, Iris?” Marissa, the Raven Claw’s pack Luna asked her mate, Daniel, standing by her side as the pair looked at us “what is going on here? I’m sure that you didn’t come here to attend the funeral”I looked down at my feet, not wanting to be questioned about the subject anymore than necessary. Ezio extended his hand at Daniel who shook his hand in return “how are you two? We didn’t expect you to be here to begin with”“We have to say the same about you two, especially judging by…” Daniel didn’t need to complete his sente

Ezio:I watched as the pack members assembled upon seeing me, wanting to submit to me as an Alpha instead of Cassandra.“Why is she the Alpha?” A girl asked, looking down at her feet “the rules say that whoever kills the Alpha is in charge, why did you give up your position?”“I never came here to be an Alpha” I said, looking down at the child “Cassandra was Ryker’s mate, and believe it or not, I know that she would be better at this position than I ever would be”“Plus, we won’t be leaving completely, if anything, we would be your pack’s new allies” Iris said, smiling at the girl. She looked up at us before hugging Iris, burying her head on her chest as she took a deep breath.“You are the only two who have helped us overcome our fears in this pack” she said, looking up at Iris. I smiled, remembering the day where she told the pack members that she wouldn’t hurt any of them before Ryker came out, reminding them that she SHOULD be fearing him if they wished to live within the pack’s g

Iris:I watched as Cassandra spoke to Ariana, trying to explain to her that she was her mother. The child was quiet as she listened, and Katerina stood, looking at both Ezio and I for a second.“You two did a good job” she said, breaking my train of thoughts. I frowned in confusion, looking at the woman who motioned for us to walk toward the veranda, giving the mother and her daughter their privacy. “What are you talking about, Katerina?” Ezio asked, crossing his arms over his chest. His muscles flexed as he looked at her, and despite the wound on his shoulder, I knew that he would be attacking her if needed. “You united a mother with her daughter, and killed the one poison that was not only ruining the pack, but the child too” she said, looking at the two of us.“You knew about her?” I asked, voicing out my confusion. Katerina simply smiled as a response, turning around to look at the bloodied field. The pack members and the Lycans were cleaning everything up, clearing out the spac

Ezio:I watched as the pack members started their training, preparing for the day’s shift before Iris walked out of the house.Alpha Ryker stood in the middle of the field, watching the pack members as they trained, his eyes lost as he stared into space, clearly trying to process the death of his sister. “Alpha” Iris said, approaching him. She handed him a glass of water to which he nodded and took a sip of “do you mind if I sit?”He looked up at her before nodding, watching as she sat down, her eyes meeting mine for a second before she turned her attention to the Alpha “how was Ariana today? Did she accept that she’s being homeschooled?” “No, but she would eventually. She just needs time to either process that it is the better option for her, or she would end up trying to convince you to send her back to school with her friends” Iris said, looking down at her lap. “I’m guessing that she has every right to want to go back to school, her balance has been stirred, but then again, for

Iris:“Morning” Cassandra told Ezio and I when she saw us walking out of the bedroom she told us to stay in, entering the sitting room where we saw her yesterday. The whole floor was designed as an apartment for her, and I was surprised to see that Alpha Ryker, regardless of the anger he had toward her, made sure that she was as comfortable as she possibly could be.“Good morning” Ezio said, answering her. He kept his arm wrapped around me as we walked out of the room, mostly assuring me that things were going to be okay. The two of us could barely talk about anything last night, not wanting to risk her hearing us, or getting on her bad side. “I take it that you two are ready?” She asked, getting up from her chair just as we heard the room’s door open. Ezio and I hid by the door, waiting for the maid to come before I grabbed her from the back, snapping her neck before she could make a sound. The maid dropped the tray that she had with her, falling limp on the ground as she took her

Iris sat beside me, looking at the woman with wide eyes as the two of us processed what she was talking about.“Yes, he has hurt me and my daughter, and I believe that it is my right to be able to kill him. You two have watched him suffer for months, but I want to be the one to look him in the eye while I’m killing him, breaking the last bit of strength that he believes he has on me” Cassandra said, looking at Iris who bit her bottom lip “you shouldn’t be too surprised, Iris. I don’t think that you would be too impressed by your mate sleeping with other women, or by him living his life after he has locked you up like some prisoner. I haven’t spoken to my daughter in years, and I am well aware that he keeps her locked in her room for days without going out, seeing or speaking to anyone. I owe it to her and myself to be able to end his life myself”“I never spoke or said anything”“Your expression s

Iris:“Are you sure that the place is here?” I asked, staring at the wall in front of us. Ezio nodded, seeming sure about it, making me frown in confusion as I looked at the empty wall.Ezio put his hand on the wall, running his finger over the tiles, gently pressing on them before one of them moved. The two of us looked at one another for a second before Ezio pressed on the tile completely, watching as a door opened behind it.My beloved wrapped his arm around me, pulling me inside the room where stairs appeared in front of us “the fifth floor” My voice was above a whisper as I spoke, and the two of us took slow, careful steps up the stairs as we feared any traps being hidden within the walls of this secret room. The door slowly closed behind us, and I couldn’t help but catch my breath as we walked up, not knowing what to expect behind the walls of the concealed room. Why it was concealed and how long has it been this way, I had no idea, but it seemed like there was a lot for us to

Ezio:“You do realize that we can’t keep killing this Alpha’s men, right? He would just notice that they have gone missing” Iris said, entering the fourth dungeon in the house. The two of us have been going around in a maze, searching for the woman who didn’t seem to be in any of the empty dungeons we entered. “It’s not like I have another option” I said, shrugging my shoulders “they would end up killing us otherwise”“Ha, ha, I am starting to believe that you are enjoying this way too much” Iris teased. I winked at my beauty, watching as she went to check the right side of the cell while I checked the left. I sighed when we found that it was also empty, and knowing that it was already a while past two, I knew that we needed to get some rest if Iris was to be able to wake up early with Ariana. “Next dungeon?”“No, baby girl, bedroom. You need to rest. Ariana doesn’t have school tomorrow and she would be very active, not to mention that the whole house would be busy with the funeral
