Chapter No 21 Claimed

She was preparing some papers for the office when the memories from the last day came to her mind. She smiled and blush.

His marks were still visible on her neck.

She heard the car’s tire screeching. She got up and went towards the window.

“Who can it be?” she thought.

She looked closely. Car’s doors opened and a short man came out of it. Her heart stopped beating and then the other door opened and a dark haired medium height woman came out of the car. She felt like her heart dropped to the stomach. The woman had many features like her. She turned towards the sofa and grabbed her phone.

“Hello Mr. Easton, I, I need your help” she said in a worried tone, making him startled.

“What it is Mel? Are you okay? Tell me I am coming home” he said worriedly.

“Mr. Easton, I am leaving home from the back of the house, I will tell you everything, I have seen your bike over there I would ride over it” she said in a rush and grabbed her bag.

She ran towards the backyard of the house where his new Aprilia RSV 1000R was standing. She rode over it.

“I will not let you catch me” she said in a whisper. She was driving faster.

“Wait? Are you going to ride on bike? No, you could hurt yourself Mel. Matilda” he said anxiously.

Without hearing, she hung up the phone. He punched over the table and got up. Natalie who just entered the office raised her hand.

“Whoa, you gonna break things” she said.

“Nat, take care of the board meeting today. I have to leave,” he said and got up.

She was riding towards the bridge when she saw his car. “Easton? how come he arrived here in a short period of time, he is fast” she thought. He pulled the brakes and stopped the car in front of the bike. She pulls the breaks as well.

He got out of the car and walked towards her. He had dangerously angry expressions. He felt as if the first version of Easton when she met him had come back. He looked inside her eyes, angrily.

“What was so urgent that you rode that bike, without hearing me out you cut me off, you could hurt yourself, you could have broken your arm or leg” he said while scolding her. She gave him a sigh and touched his cheek in order to calm him down. He took a deep breath.

“I used to be a rider, Easton, a long time ago, I used to do chicken races for a living and there was no race I had lost,” she said calmly.

He looked at her with astonishment. He touched her cheeks softly.

“This girl has gone through a lot” he thought.

“You will never have to go through that again Mel, because you are my girl,” he said softly. She smiles but today something was weird about her.

“What is it Mel?” he asked.

“My parents are here in Canada,” she said in a whisper. His expression changes again into anger.

“What are they doing here?” he asked angrily.

“I don’t know, but they know your address as well,” she said.

“Who could tell them” he asked.

“I told Ivan and I trust him more than myself, it’s not him” she said.

“Jim?” he suggests.

“Jim does not know about your current property where we are living,” she said.

“But how could they know?” he asked, puzzled.

“I don’t know, but I don’t want to meet them Easton” she said worriedly.

“I promise I will not let you meet them” he said.

“I will not let them hurt you again, I will not let them come any closer to you” he said while looking inside her eyes.

“I will not leave by your side,” he said in a whisper.

“Thanks Easton, for being there in my life for me” she said while looking up in his eyes.

“Where are them?” he asked.

“I saw them out of your home” she said.

“Let me talk to them, if you don’t want to meet them then you will not” he said.

“I hate them, Easton, they ruined everything in me, why did they come back suddenly to break me again” she said with disgust.

“I will handle that, you can go to Spain with my parents if you want to, despite the fact that I hate to live away from you” he said in the last sentence mischievously.

She smiles and slaps him softly.

“No I am fine here, but I don’t want to see their face” she said.

“I will take care of that,” he said.

“I think Alejandro is coming this week,” she said, they were walking towards the bridge now.

“That’s good, Sebastian will be here too after a while” he said.

“I feel sorry for him, I mean he has a very busy schedule” she said.

He chuckled.

“Yeah busy among the woman” he said.

“Wait what? I can’t believe” she said.

“Well that’s the true” he said while observing waves down the bridge.

“When I fell in love with you at first in his club when you kissed me, he felt envious of you. Because he and I were partners in crime, he did not believe that I fell in love” he said laughing.

“He envies me?” she asked, shocked.

“Yeah” he laughs.

“But I did not know, I even forgot your face” she said.

“Yeah, but now you will never forget this face” he said while leaning over her. He was about to kiss her when she turned her face mischievously and his kiss went on her cheek.

“You love to tease me but you know I will be naughtiest on the bed,” he said in a deep huskier voice. She felt her heart beat faster and her cheeks started blushing bright red.

“Let’s go, I have left a meeting because I was sure you will do something stupid,” he said smiling.

“But I made you shocked didn’t I?” she mischievously said.

“Matilda Huston you really are something else” he said laughing.

“Mr. Fanaggaen you will never know,” she said in a whisper while looking inside his deep blue eyes.

She was taking Coffee sips, as it was the finest thing to drink after such a tiring day.

“You have not told me about yourself Matilda?” asked Alejandro. She felt as if the coffee had become tasteless.

“I am an orphan” she said shortly.

“Oh that’s sad” said a voice behind her. This would be the last voice she wanted to hear on the earth. She turned, the nightmare was standing in front of her.

Matilda was looking at her with wide open eyes.

“Surprised?” said the woman.

“Miss Huston, what are you doing here?” Matilda asked coldly.

“I am here to pay my sympathy over your parents’ death” said the woman with fake sadness.

“You are right Lena, of course we are here after all her father is dead as well.” said a man, she looked it was him.

“I accept your sympathy now you can leave,” she said with cold expressions.

“Well, Well, Well how about we will leave with you?” said Lena. Alejandro who was watching it all came ahead.

“Wait who you are? And why are you talking to her like this?” he asked while crossing her arms around his chest.

“Well my dear why don’t you ask her, she will tell you, we were working in an orphanage where she had been raised,” said Lena. She looked at him with anger.

“Mr. and Mrs. Huston, I don’t want to do anything with you” said Matilda angrily.

“Mr. and Mrs. Huston? that’s your surname, what is going on Mel?” asked Alejandro angrily. She raised her hand, “Not now”.

“We are not leaving, we want you to come with us” said James.

“With witch relation?” she asked.

“You know who we are” said Lena bitterly.

“Listen I don’t have to do anything with you, you guys can go” she said angrily. Lena had grabbed her hand harshly. “Don’t you dare to raise your voice in front of us” she said harshly.

“Let go of me” she screams.

“Who the hell are you, leave her,” said Alejandro while struggling.

Someone grabbed Lena’s hand. A third hand, a very strong hand. Lena looked up, it was a tall blond man.

“Let her go” he said angrily. She let go of her hand. He walks towards Matilda and slowly hugs her.

“Who the hell are you?” asked James.

“You tell me who the hell are you?” asked Easton angrily.

“This is none of your business” James said angrily.

“Everything that has to be with her is my business now, get out or else I am gonna kick you out of here” he said while raising his finger.

They looked at Matilda and then to Easton and left.

“I don’t want to see you again” she said. Her mother turned, there was remorse in her eyes but she did not say anything and left.

Easton hugs her slightly while Alejandro puts her hand over his shoulder.

She was lying on his bed crying. He got inside the room, seeing her crying like this made his heart ach. He walked towards her and cupped her face in his head. She looked at him with glassy eyes.

He hugs her slightly. All the pain and sorrow from her previous life was now ahead of her.

He looked at the slight table, the medicines’ bottle cap was open which mean she took a few but they were not helping her. He took a deep breath.

“Mel, you need to forget all this,” he said.

She was shaking.

“I will make you forget everything and that’s a promise,” he said in a deep voice and then hugged her. She felt her feelings for him helping her and she kissed his neck. He took a deep breath taking her scent inside his body.

She looked up at him and kissed him. It was instant and for the first time she was indeed responding and kissing him initially.
