Selena's POV

"How are you feeling?", Lily asked, looking down at me from her sitting position on the side of the bed.

"I'm fine. For the fifteenth time, I'm fine."

Ever since the doctor declared me with child, Lily had been treating me like a delicate porcelain doll that could shatter at any moment if handled wrong. The question she asks after every hour is if I felt fine.

I truly was. The nauseous feeling and occasional dizziness were not a bother anymore and I still felt normal, like another werewolf wasn't growing in me.

"Okay. I'll need to go buy some food items in the market so I won't be around for some time. Just in case."

I frowned, straightening up from the bed. "Why are you going to buy food items? Lily, that's not your work anymore, remember? Let the chefs handle the cooking and others, the cleaning", I stated, a finality tone in my voice.
