Chapter 31

Natalia:

Blake and I walked down the stairs, going back to see the family.

My eyes widened in surprise when I saw that my grandfather was sitting in the living room. The man smiled, standing up and walking toward me. He extended his hand to me, shaking my hand.

“I’m sorry, I thought you left”

“I was going to, but judging by the fact that I saw Crystal being upset; I figured that staying a while longer would be a lot better than leaving. Plus, the two of us are going to need to talk”

“We have nothing to talk about, at least, nothing that I want to know of” I said, glaring at the man. I knew that I needed to train with him, and I knew that building up as much as power would end up killing me. But the idea of training with a man who has been kept hidden from me throughout my whole life annoyed me, and the fact that he knew of my existence and never bothered trying to approach me was something that I couldn’t miss either.
