Chapter 6

SOPHIA'S POV:

It's the day of the wedding. I woke up early today and took a shower. The garden is decorated for the wedding . The maids come and give me something to eat. When I finished eating, the maids all came and helped me to get dressed and apply makeup. When they are finished, they leave the room. I was sitting alone in the room.

"Mom, I’m getting married. "Please pray for me," I whisper as I pray.

Sometimes later, my sisters come to my room.

"Look who’s wearing a wedding dress,"  Harley says.

Well, no matter how many new and beautiful dresses she wears, she will still look like a whore. That’s because that’s in her blood maybe, "Raelyn says.

They were wearing more beautiful dresses than mine. It’s nothing new, though. I silently listened to their comments. I don’t want to say anything back. After a while, the mother came into the room.

"So you are ready, huh?" looks pathetic as always. " Mom says

Listen, we are not getting you married to Mr. Sokolov, not only for our company. You’ll seduce that old pervert and ask for money from him. And then you’ll give that money to us. If you don't, we'll spread dirty rumours about you. And never come back here. Understand? " Mom says it once more.

"Yes, I’ll try my best," I meekly said, as there were tears in my eyes.

"Now don’t try to act like a crybaby. Don’t cry or it'll ruin this makeup. You know how much money we have to spend on you for this marriage? "You have to pay this back too," Mom replied.

"Yes, I’ll pay you back," I say.

"That’s good to hear. "Now let’s go girls," Mom says to my sister. After that, they leave.

I have been sitting alone in this room for thirty minutes. When my father came,

"It's time...let’s go," the father says. He’s looking a bit distressed, like he saw something unexpected.

I went out with my father as he was walking me down the aisle. There were a few unknown faces. They are probably Mr. Sokolov's relatives. There’s a young woman, a middle-aged man, and an old woman sitting. I wonder who they are.

When I got close to the stage, I saw his face for the first time. I was surprised when I saw his face. He’s not an old pervert, but the total opposite. A handsome young man His black hair was styled beautifully and his ruby-like red eyes were shining. He is so tall and handsome. also young. It’s unbelievable that he’s the CEO of Sokolov company. He’s just like a prince that every girl desires.

No wonder my father looks distraught, as my sister’s face was surprised. When I went on the stage, the ceremony began. We exchanged our vows and then our rings. Mine was a beautiful diamond ring, and it fit perfectly on my finger. Afterward, we kiss each other. It’s my first time kissing anyone except my brother, who forced himself on me.

After the ceremony was finished, a middle-aged man and a young woman came to us. They are probably his family.

"Hello dear, I’m his father. You can call me dad or father, whatever you like. " He says it softly while smiling. It’s been a long time since someone talked to me this nicely.

"And I’m his older sister, Alya. You can call me Alya or sister. " She says She looks kind-hearted too.

"And that aunt who’s speaking to your parents is Aunt Susie."

They all look like they are nice people. Is my fate about to change?

My mother walks up to us and says to Mr. Sokolov,

I hope you’ll take good care of my daughter. She’s our precious daughter. I’m counting on you, "she says in a soft voice.

Me? Her precious daughter I wanted to laugh after hearing her.

"Sure, I’ll try my best."

"So when are you going back to Russia?"

"I want to go back to Russia tomorrow."

"Oh, that’s great. Until then, you can stay here if you want. "

"Don’t worry, mam. We don’t want to give you any more trouble. We have a vacation house here. We'll stay there today. "

"Oh okay. Please don’t mind my daughter. She’s so clumsy and dumb. I hope you’ll cope with her. "

"Yes, don’t worry, mam."

My mother insults me in front of him.

"You can call me Alex if you want, Sophia." He says this to me with a slight smile.

Huh..did he just say that to me? W-what should I do..what should I do?

"O-okay, I don’t mind," I reply, smiling a bit.

I can’t stop blushing after watching him smile. He's looking sexy and stunning while smiling like that.I can see my brother's disappointed face. When my sister walked up to me,

"Can we talk with our sister for a minute, Mr. Sokolov ?" Rae asks.

"Sure"

They desperate me from Alex and started telling me to

Don’t be happy just because he's handsome. I bet he'll treat you like a slave. " Raelyna says, while Harley agrees with her.

" That’s what we want to say. And don’t forget to send some gifts from Russia. " Harley says.

I simply nod.Then Alex calls me since we are going to leave now.
