“The fact that you are calling, Diablo, amazes me. Is your first task as Capo to call me?” My father asked as I sat at his desk, reading through a paper with him, doing the math that he didn’t want to have his accountant doing.

He put the man on speaker, and I couldn’t help but shake my head, knowing that my father was not going to pay him any attention. His own father was never a friend to us, but we shared one boarder, at least, until we left the city for him to deal with. Our part was done here, and I agreed with my father on the fact that we needed to leave this place.

“I need help. I know that we are not the closest of allies, but I need your men’s help to save my sister.” He said, making me frown in confusion.

“Why would they need to save an eleven year old girl? What harm could she be in?” He asked, mocking Diablo. The man didn’t say anything to respond, making me frown in confusion. I was sixteen at the time, I knew that he was two years older than I was. T
