Chapter 19

Sienna:

I didn’t bother speaking to Diablo as he walked inside the room after dismissing himself from the men who hung around for a drunken night.

I had to admit, the sight of their women glued to them annoyed me more than ever, and thankfully, neither one of them bothered asking why I didn’t want to join them. I was still an outsider, their ways were foreign in my eyes, and I wanted them to stay that way.

He walked inside the bathroom, and I sat on the chair, staring at my reflection in the mirror.

“What have you gotten yourself into, Sienna?” I whispered to myself, shaking my head in question as I grew annoyed with everything that I had to deal with.

I stared down at my phone, which Levant, one of the Diablo’s men brought to me after I walked inside the house, for a few seconds, and I had to admit, I wished that my parents called. The idea of them not doing so made me fear that they might have had something to do with the bomb.
