BIANCA’S POV

I wasn’t sure if sharing my marriage problems with this stranger called Bernard was the right thing to do, but I can say that the entire conversation with him felt like a weight lifted off my chest. I could breathe properly, knowing that I had someone who understood my pain. Someone who understood how I felt. Someone who didn’t judge me and make me feel like I was overreacting in all of this.

After today, I was certain I wouldn’t see him again. We didn’t know anybody close to each other, so there was no need to worry about him snitching though he didn’t look like someone who would do that.
