Luka-When someone sat in the chair across from me, I expected to see Reyna, but it wasn’t her. Luckily, I had my mask on, otherwise, I was sure this female player would recognize me. There was something familiar about her, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.“Can I help you?” I asked, sounding slightly annoyed.“It is more how I can help you, handsome.” The girl flirted as if she didn’t have any sense of pride.“Thank you, but no.” I stood from my chair to walk away from her, and that was when I noticed Reyna standing a few feet away.I couldn’t read her expression, but I sensed that she wasn’t happy. I wanted to let her know that it wasn’t what it looked like, but the female grabbed my arm. She quickly stood up and blocked my path. Since I was still focused on Reyna, I saw the way her eyes narrowed on the female’s hand that was touching me.Quickly I brushed it off as if I had something to be guilty about. I didn’t get a chance to step back before she grabbed me with her other hand.

Reyna-We had our talk about things, but things still didn’t feel normal between us. I could tell that he was still distant from me. I kept trying to communicate with him, but mostly I gave him the space that he seemed to need.Walking through the ruined forest, we didn’t say much to each other. I could tell he was trying to force himself, but it was more as if he were simply going through the motions. I understood he was worried, as I was too, but it was different for him. Reyna-“Luka!” I screamed when Luka fell to the ground after being hit by the level nine Boss.I should have known that it wasn’t a promising idea to challenge the boss. Throughout the entire level, he seemed extremely distracted. He had insisted he was fine, but as soon as we reached the dungeon, I had a bad feeling that I couldn’t shake since we first started the level.It has been three days since reaching level nine and my worries have only increased with each quest and monster we came across. I kept trying to get him to open up to me, but every time I did, he pulled further away. I even went as far as whistling for the Pegasus, to see if that could put him in a better mood again.Now we were fighting against a Cyclops, near a river, at the base of a volcano. I did everything I could to protect Luka, but his actions were too reckless, and I couldn’t keep up. I wanted to rush toward Luka, as I noticed his health bar was dangerously low and he was dropping one percent by the minute.

Luka-Before Reyna hit the ground, I caught her and lifted her into my arms. At first, I thought it was weird that the system didn’t automatically log her out, but then I remembered she bypassed the safety features in her gear. With no other choice, I teleported the both of us to the home I built.Since we have been focused on defeating the game, she hasn’t been inside the house yet. The only time she is at the house is when we meet there, but then we go to whichever level we were at that time. Luka-The scene that now laid before me was that of a park, where Zane and I were playing at. Except instead of being adults, we were just two bratty little ten-year-olds. At first, I was nothing more than a spectator, only able to watch what was happening around me, but still having the ability to think as an adult.“Are we going to play or not, Luka?” Zane asked, throwing a basketball in my direction. Reyna-Two hours into the drive and Zane has yet to say a word. I thought about what I could ask him, but everything I produced sounded suspicious even in my head. Reyna-As soon as Kaige and I left the hospital and we were on the road, I reconnected the audio transmitter. Admitting to Luka that I had lied hadn’t been easy, but at least he didn’t seem upset with me.
