The hunt

Celia's POV

Celia decides to let Tessa have a break. After all, she's also a highly skilled hunter. And someone needs to watch over Jonathan, as something in her told her that he had no experience whatsoever.

But who knows, he could always surprise her.

At the news, Jonathan's face falls, and he walks up to Celia. She can tell that he's nervous about her being alone with Nova, but she promises no harm will come unto her-at least from Celia anyway. She can't really speak for the damage Nova does for herself.

As they depart early in the morning, Celia sits across from Nova who's asleep on her back. Her arms are in front of her, bounded by rope, her ankles tied together. Nova twitches, and groans, before opening her eyes and snarling at Celia.

It makes Celia feel like her hackles are raised, and she snarls back, flashing her metal canines at the girl. Nova blinks, sitting up then, as she scoots herself to the closest tree, a growl rumbling from her.
