"You know, if I'm not so keen of your antics now, I would assume you're on your way to have a major breakdown."

Krystal glares at Dalia who's leaning at the door frame of her demo room.

"Don't you have any better thing to do aside from checking on me?" Krystal almost bristle to the other.

Dalia shrugs. "I just wanna check on you, since you've been designing that thing for like.. Forty eight hours now. Did you even eat anything today? You also smells like stale bread. No offense."

Krystal hears none of Dalia's words, she has chosen not to acknowledge them. Though the designer halts from huffing to turn to Dalia like her neck is gonna snap.

Dalia winces at the sound of cracking bones.

"What did you say? I've been here for two days?!" Krystal doesn't sound panicked, but she's somewhat looking semi-hysterical at the thought that she's been camping on the demo room that long.

  • And If I Say So   Chapter 1

Krystal can be the most patient person anyone could have ever met. That's the truth. She can endure anyone's tardiness because she knows herself the importance of ignoring your work sometimes, as long as you won't get too comfortable with being lazy. She also understands when a model doesn't feel like in the 'carpet' or 'in front of the camera'. All models get those kind of days where they regret entering the fashion world and can't eat carbs for the love of highness. That's particularly one of the thing the models Krystal hates the most because she pities them. All in all, she's patient. In department of love life, though.. Not so much. She could care less for all she can. Plus the fact that she identifies herself as aromantic, or ace, because she's never felt in love at all. She's not all asexual, for she sees the fun in intimate thing like kissing and cuddling, but she knows it's not for her. She's too much in love with her work and also too much in love with the concept of loving

  • And If I Say So   Chapter 2

"I'm sorry, Sir," Krystal starts. "You are not allowed in this part of the establishment if you don't have any appointment. And you have to make a schedule first before you demand for my service. I can sue you for ignoring my office's security staff."The man scowls at him. "Yeah, I want to see you try. Don't you know me?"Ah, Krystal thinks in mild annoyance and grimace. She hates dealing with privileged people demanding everyone's favor and service just because they are 'on priority list'even if they are not.Krystal crosses her arms in front of her torso. "Am I supposed to? Know you, I mean?"The man's brows furrow. "No. But I want you for this job. Or this wedding. Make suit and my fiancé's wedding dress. Whatever she wants or something."In nearby, Krystal can hear the receptionist chokes and gasps at the supposedly romantic declaration of this man for his soon to be wife. Of course, hopelessly romantic people like her would think it's sweet that a man –a person, really– would do

  • And If I Say So   Chapter 3

Krystal, if being honest, is dreading for whatever may happen today. She woken up with a sigh, has spent her remaining time staring at the ceiling, and thinking if meeting the CEO first is better than meeting Suzy's manager beforehand.Just like how she works her way with her creations, weaving and beads in detail and exact place to button them down, her mind is also working in jumble like usual. She thinks about the consequences, the effect it will have if she meets them individually first. If she happens to meet Christian first, with the CEO promising that he would be bringing his fiancé, then there's a big chance that all would be better than yesterday. Because she has an impression that whoever gets to deal with Christian Giannini probably has the patience of a kindergarten teacher, right? And if everything goes well, that means Krystal will be possibly in good mood and that will be also good if Suzy's manager are to visit the headquarter this week. But if the meeting with Giannin

  • And If I Say So   Chapter 4

"You're pregnant."Are the first words that got out of Krystal's mouth. Dolore blinks at her, but the woman only gives her a hearty laugh."How'd you know?"At the reaction that lacks indignation, Krystal lets herself sigh in relief. "I'm a designer. That means I'm well acquainted with 'unwanted' bumps with my models. Though I can say you don't have the same predicament."Dolore looks down on her almost non-existent baby bump, and just almost because there's really a bump there at the lower belly but just so, so little, but in Krystal's standard is she's already showing and she can only imagine if it happens to one of her models but shakes her head because this is not the time.Krystal then turns to Christian Giannini and the CEO only looks back at her, and he looks disgruntled and doesn't want to be here. Whatever. It's not Krystal's fault. He was the one who stormed here in her office at the first place."I have a office specific for this kind of meeting. Shall we?" Krystal doesn't

  • And If I Say So   Chapter 5

Signing the non disclosure agreement contract has taken too longer than Krystal has anticipated. Christian Giannini is a business man through and through, not letting any rule he doesn't deem important –such as having third party witnesses because lawyers are enough and can stand as witnesses too, according to him, not that Krystal knows anything about that– and only signed the contract after talking to his lawyers; and he has recited the rules one by one. And his own rules he added. After all of them signed the contract, and having Sarah sending a copy to Krystal's own lawyer, Dolore has thanked her profusely and even asked her if they can hang out over coffee. Krystal says she'll be really busy, but they can talk every meeting they will get out of this deal. Dolore also tells her that her pregnancy is actually crucial for her health is not the best suitable for carrying, so she can't go out but Krystal can definitely visit her place if the designer is fine holding a meeting there.D

(The next day comes too fast for Krystal's liking. But surprisingly, as much as she's dreading the day to be worse, she arrives at the headquarter with a good mood and energy to spare to reply all the good mornings she receives from the people at the lobby."Good morning, Miss Krystal!" A staff chirps to her. "Elevator?"Everyone knew that while Krystal's main office is in the fifteenth floor, the demonstration room at the lobby is also standing as her office. It's convenient, and Krystal is much more frequent at the demo room than she anticipated. While the main office is where she actually do paper works and deal with much more professional side of her job, the demo room is where she actually do her forte; designing. So when she walks ahead instead of to the right –towards the elevator, the staff immediately understands. The question is out of courtesy, so Krystal knows he's not stupid. She trusts her HR team, just like she always claim. The elevator opens and the people inside give
