"Hello?" Sarah said carefully on the phone after picking the call up.
"Hello, princess. You seem to forget me, huh?" Came his husky yet demanding voice which she actually heard after the longest gap since they met.
"Why did you call, Mr King?" She asked in a bored tone while silently closing the door behind her. She looked around for Elijah but he wasn't nowhere to be seen. She eyed the armed guards with inspected eyes before giving her attention back to the phone call.
"Aw! Now I can't even call my wedding planner whom I am paying so much?" He asked in a mocking tone, making her roll her eyes at him which he thankfully can't see. Otherwise he would have made another fuss for it.
"Of course, you can. If only it's about your marriage. Not for anything else." She said with a frown while keeping her tone straight.
"Of course, it's about MY marriage! Why w
"Well, now you can't do anything about it, can you?" Elijah asked with a small smile after hearing everything. "Duh!" Sarah sighed in displeasure as they walked through the long hallway. "Right, that's what I thought. So, now instead of sulking around, get the work done fast and get rid of him." He said and she let out another sigh. "I don't think I can do that either because he is one of the shareholders of my company because of that bastard." She said with gritted teeth while mentioning about Samantha's so-called boyfriend. "Well… it's okay. Forget about him. Don't ruin your mood for him now." He said with a smile while pulling her closer by shoulder and giving him a kiss on the forehead. She smiled at that gesture. "Okay." She said with the same smile while walking with him through the corridor when a question came to her mind. "I have a
AFTER A FEW DAYS "May I come in?" A knock on the door made Sarah look up from the file she was reading. She looked at Mary standing outside the door, waiting for her permission to get in. She rolled her eyes at Mary for acting so childish. "You are too much sometimes, Mary. Since when did you start to need permission to enter my room?" Sarah asked with a roll of her eyes before closing the file and gave her all attention to Mary. Mary smiled playful after hearing her and got inside the room with her tab in her hand. "Actually you were reading the file very carefully and with a lot of concentration. So, I didn't want to disturb you." Mary explained with a smile while taking a seat in front of her. Sarah gave the closed file a small look before looking back at Mary. "Well, it is indeed an important file." Sarah said as she let out a sigh. "Which fi
"I can't believe it!" Mary exclaimed in disbelief and displeasure as she and Sarah stood in front of a very familiar building with frowns on their faces."Trust me, we both are on the same pages." Sarah said in the similar tone as Mary while letting out a silent groan."I don't want to go in there." Mary said in a final tone and turned around to leave but Sarah was quick to get a hold of her hand and stopped her at the right moment."Hey! Where are you going? You can't leave me here alone." Sarah frowned at Mary with an offensive look on her face."Well, I can leave you here and I am going to do the same. It's your company, your deal and your problems! So, don't drag me in there." Mary said with a frown."Don't be such a bad friend, Mary! Don't leave me there alone. You know what's going to happen after that." Sarah said with a fake fearful look on her fac
"Oh, baby! Yeah! Yeah! Right there! Just like this! Oh my god! Go faster! Go faster! Oh my god! Yeah, baby! I am close! I am close-...!" Samantha was moaning out loud in pleasure when suddenly she was cut off abruptly and rudely, making her groan out loud in frustration and fury."What the fuck?! Whoever this is! I swear by God, I am going to-..." She was cursing in fury while taking the phone off the tea table but she stopped as soon as she saw who the caller was. She sat up straight on the couch with a sexy smile on her face as she moved away from the man who was at the top of her, pleasuring her."Oh my, it's my lucky day, I guess to get the call from the mighty King." She said with a smirk. She looked at the man who had stopped pleasuring her and was currently caressing her and touching her in her most intimate places, making her shiver in pleasure. "Oh, baby boy! Why did you stop? You continue and show me what your mouth can
"What the fuck is your problem, Sarah?" Samantha shouted at Sarah at the top of her voice while storming out of her office room. Sarah looked at her from head to toe with a disinterested look on her face as she folded her hands over her chest. Her hair was disheveled. Her dress was wrinkled and out of place. Her face was flushed. She remembered the man storming out of the room in a hurry a few minutes ago in displeasure. And she very well understood what could have caused the displeasure to Samantha. She was in the middle of some very important 'business' which might have got interrupted because of her. "What is it, Samantha?" Sarah asked in a blank tone while acting completely clueless. That seemed to anger Samantha more as she stomped her feet on the ground like a five years old child. "How dare you go and snitch King about me like a bitch you are?!" She shouted at Sarah, making her frown at her in displeas
"Why isn't he picking up the call?" Sarah said to herself in confusion while dialing Elijah once again. She has been calling him for the past few minutes but he wasn't picking up the call. It was making him worried because it has never happened before after that day in the hotel. When she thought he wasn't going to pick up this time as well, she was going to pull the phone away from her ear when she heard his voice."Hello?""Hello, Elijah?" She said to the phone with a frown."Yes, Sarah." Elijah said from the other side of the phone."Why weren't you picking up the call? I have been calling you for the past ten minutes at least. Are you okay?" She asked with a frown of worry."I am so sorry to worry you, Sarah. I was stuck with some work. I am fine. Are you okay? Why were you calling me so many times? Are you in some emer
"Yes, Mary, please postpone my schedule by one hour. I will be one hour late today to reach the office. And I will be going to dad's office today first. So, meet me there, directly. Yeah… okay… see you soon." Sarah said in a professional tone over the phone while walking through the second floor corridor of the Watson mansion where her and the cousins' room were. She cut the call and put the phone on her purse while walking toward the stairs hurriedly. She had a lot of things to do that day. As she was walking through the corridor, she passed Liam's room and at the same time Liam came out of the room. Their eyes met and they stopped on their tracks for a second. She felt awkward for a moment, not knowing what to do. She couldn't just walk away from there like she didn't see him. So, she settled with giving him a small smile. He smiled back immediately."Hello, Sarah. When did you come here?" He asked while walking t
IN THE HOSPITAL"Hello, Eliana." Sarah said in a soft tone after taking her seat on the chair.Just like before, she waited for a few seconds, expecting an answer from Eliana. But soon she realised that it wasn't possible. She let out a sigh."I know, I know that I shouldn't be expecting a greeting for you just yet as we are not that close yet." She said with a small chuckle and waited for a few more seconds."I have an idea to solve the issue!" She exclaimed in happiness. She was talking so smoothly with Eliana that as if she was responding with equal excitement. "How about we start from being friends? Do you wanna be my friend? If yes, please squeeze my hand, I will understand. And if not, squeeze twice! I am smart, you see!" She said with a chuckle as she held Eliana's cold hand. But as expected, there wasn't any response. It made her sad but she didn't express it anyway, not even by showing
"Where is she?""How is she?""How did this happen?""I want to see her!"Four different voices exclaimed as they all made an entry at the same time. Elijah, who was lost in deep thoughts, came back to the world and looked at them in a little shock. There was Jonah, Mary, Nick and Natasha who one after another said and asked those things. All of their faces were filled with worry and fear. But among them, Natasha's expression surprised him a lot. It looks like she cried on her way here. She was that scared for Sarah! Unbelievable!"Elijah? Back to earth and tell us what happened here?!" Natasha exclaimed once again as she shook him.He looked at her with a small frown looking at the closed hospital door with a clenched jaw."Sarah is in there,
“Where is Sarah?” Elijah asked with a frown as he looked around the room, looking for her frantically. “Who are you looking for, sir?” A doctor asked in confusion after coming forward. “Sarah! Where is she?” Elijah asked in a panicked tone as he just remembered her. He remembered that she didn’t sound good when they were talking on the phone. She must be in some danger. He felt like beating himself up for forgetting about her. “Who is Sarah, sir?” The doctor asked in a fearful tone. “The one who called me to inform me about Eliana! She was here. I heard you guys when we were on a call. Where is she now?” He asked at the top of his voice. The doctor got scared once again. “We didn’t see anyone when we came here, sir. We got busy with Miss Eliana as soon as we entered the room.” The doctor said and he let out a frustrated groan. “Only god
Elijah felt like his whole body was going to turn cold in anticipation and fear. He tried to call Sarah quite a few times. It kept ringing but no one picked it up. He called the guards as well but no one was picking up the call. He gritted his teeth hard in anger. He was going to kill all of them. He reached the hospital and ran inside it, leaving the car unattended, without parking. He ran toward the elevator to find it taking longer to come down as usual but he didn't have much time. So, he ran toward the stairs to take it to reach the floor where his sister was. Hopefully Sarah was there too. "Oh god! Please let both of them be safe. They both mean a lot to me. They are my everything. Please god. I have begged you for a lot of time but he never showed any mercy but please just this one." He prayed loudly and frantically as he ran upstairs. He was breathless by the time he reached the floor. His heart start
Sarah forgot about everything else at that moment and walked toward the hospital room as fast as she could. She came to meet Eliana. She was supposed to stay there with Eliana for a few minutes before going to the office. She had a really important meeting today which she can't postpone or delay anymore because that's going to mess up her schedule. As she neared the room, she suddenly felt a bad energy coming from the room. The feeling was nerve wracking. It made her heart beat badly, for some negative vibe. She felt so scared suddenly and she didn't know why she was feeling so but it made her want to curl in some corner. It was so so bad! She slowly advanced to the room where Eliana was. Her heart was still beating crazily while her leg was wobbling. Her hand was shaking as she put her hand on the handle. She took some deep breaths. She looked back at the guards and they were still looking at their front with no expressions on their fac
THE NEXT MORNING "Good morning, beautiful." Sarah rolled her eyes at his new nickname and cheekiness. "Good morning, Mr King. Can you please tell me where you find such nicknames every new day?" Sarah asked with a sigh while walking through the hospital corridor. "Well, that's for me to know and you to find out." He said with the same level of cheekiness. She shook her head at him. "How are you today?" He asked after a few seconds. "I am good." She answered in a casual tone. "Are you happy?" He asked once again, making her confused. "Why are you asking that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow which obviously he couldn't see. "Well, you got your husband, your love." He stated and she let out a chuckle. "I am not even going to ask
"What is this man doing here? I just lost my appetite!" Samantha exclaimed like a spoiled brat as soon as she saw Elijah sitting on the dining table. Sarah frowned at her while holding Elijah's hand under the table. But she didn't say anything. "What's there to lose appetite, Samantha? Because as far as I remember about your desert preferences a few months ago-..." Natasha couldn't complete her sentence as Samantha's glare shut her up so she just smirked at her in reply. "Don't you think you have started talking too much these days? Are you sure it's good for your health and peace?" Samantha asked Natasha in a mean tone. "Oh don't worry about my health and peace. I belong to the group of those people who ruin other people's health and peace. So, I know how to protect mine well." Natasha replied back sassily while smirking at Samantha while Samantha was fuming in anger.
"Hello, Jordan. I am very happy to see you but I would have been happier if you had knocked before entering the room." Helena said in pure sarcasm, making Jordan wonder from where does this woman get all this humour. But he was too furious to care about that at that moment. "That bastard is playing a double game with us." He growled in fury as he slammed on the sofa where Elijah was seated previously. "Who are you talking about? And why do you sound so furious?" Helena asked, suddenly getting serious. "I am talking about your so-called master pawn! That damn driver, Elijah. He is playing some double game with us and that makes me furious." He said with gritted teeth, making her look at him with a deeper frown. "What are you talking about?" She asked in a blank tone. "I was just outside the door when you were talking with him." He said and before
ON THE OTHER SIDE "May I come in, ma'am?" Elijah knocked on the door. "Come in, Elijah." Helena spoke up with a small and it creeped Elijah so bad that he felt a shiver run past his spine. He kept his face blank as he got inside the room. It wasn't her office room this time, it was her bedroom. It made the situation more awkward for Elijah. He didn't close the door behind him this time. "Good evening, ma'am." He greeted her politely and she nodded at him with the same smile. "Very good evening, Elijah. I am seeing you after so long. How are you?" She asked in a tone as if she was his biggest well-wisher. "Thank you for asking, ma'am. I am good. I hope the same for you." He said in a low tone while looking down on the floor. "I am good as well, as you can see." She said with a smile. "Why don't you take a seat?" She as
"Now, tell me, what's going on?" Sarah asked as soon as they were inside Natasha's room and closed the door behind. They both took a seat on her bed and Sarah patiently waited for Natasha to open her mouth. But she sat there silently, looking down at her hands, without letting out a single word. Sarah looked at her with a worried frown. "Natasha? Is everything alright?" She asked slowly, in a tone filled with nothing but worry."I don't know, Sarah. My life is in a mess currently and I don't know what to do." Natasha said in agony while breaking down completely. Sarah's eyes widened and she was quick to lean forward and hug her tightly."Oh my god, Natasha! Please don't cry. Everything is going to be alright. Please stop crying." Sarah cooed in a caring tone while rubbing her back soothingly to calm her down.Natasha cried hugging Sarah back, without saying anything and Sarah understood that she needed time.
