Ch. 76 Recipe for Disaster

Reegan’s POV

Dad wanted a full update on everything he had missed while he was away. While Ryan and I held the Alpha title outright, our father loved this pack dearly and could never fully remove himself from the daily affairs. Not that we minded. He was an amazing Alpha and mentor. We valued his input but he always gave us the freedom to make our own decisions.

It had taken a lot of convincing and ultimately mom threatening to leave him here and go on vacation without him to get him to take some time off. As much as he loved the pack, he loved mom more and could never be without her for that long. Unfortunately, now, we were stuck rehashing every detail of the last month.

I supposed I shouldn’t complain since it was occupying our time until Kat finished assisting Christian, but I was finding it damn difficult to focus. My wolf was pacing in my head, complaining about being away from his mate for too long. If he had his way, we would burst into that OR and drag her out of there.

I think Kat should most definitely believe them. They have not once told her a lie.
