Well well well what do we have here then? The moment I hear his voice my blood instantly burns with anger. He has some balls turning up here, you'd think he'd use his brains and run while he has the chance but no not this idiot, he just keeps coming back for more.
"What the fuck are you doing here Sean?" I growl out the words as Nate comes to the front of my head wanting out but I hold him back for now while I step back closer to Emma as my protective side takes over. I catch movement in the corner of my eye as she climbs down from the gate but I quickly push her behind me before that prick has a chance to do anything.

Beta Emma's pov I start waking up and I feel groggy as hell, my head feels too heavy for my body and my mind feels all fuzzy, what the hell is going on? The twins took the lead while Josh is walking behind everyone and despite being offered help he insisted on being the one to carry Noah's body home while Emma has walked numbly next to me while I've tugged her along. I hear noise and look up to see Sophia, Jake, Savannah and Mia all coming out of the packhouse looking both relieved and worried. We haven't spoken to any of them as we all agreed that this isn't something that should be said over link but Mia would have felt incredible pain when Noah died so at the very least they will assume that either he or Josh are hurt. There is a small bit of hope across their faces and it kills me to see it because clearly, they are still hoping for a miracle when in reality Jake and Sophia are about to find out that they have lost their youngest son and Mia

Beta Alex's povIt's been 2 weeks since Noah's death and things are still raw but I know from personal experience that this isn't something that's going to just go away, you never get over losing the people that you love but you just learn to live with it somehow. Some days are harder than others but day by day slowly things are starting to get back into a routine.The day after the battle we managed to get final numbers on deaths and it turns out that we lost four more wolves than we first thought, 11 of our pack members were lost that day and the effects are still being felt just as strong.They were someone's son or daughter and someone's sister or brother. Some of them were mates and parents and they will always be honoured at this pack. Two days after the battle we held a funeral for Noah, Tim, Zac, Cory and Jenny and a memorial for Lewis, Kyle, Hailey, Paddy, Elsa and Scott and we've also got a bench with their names on it in Emma's sunflower g
