Chapter One Hundred and Seven

“But he doesn’t have a relative.” I found myself saying, before I could actually stop myself.

“Well, the man said so himself, so I couldn’t exactly do anything, Richardson.” Mike said. “Anyways, I guess we would talk later. I’m actually heading home now after staying in the hospital for hours nonstop. I really think I deserve this break.” He did sound tired, and I couldn’t blame him. The man worked like a literall machine.

“It’s okay, Mike, we’ll talk later. Have a good rest.” I told him and pretty much hung up immediately after that call.

I walked to the study where Tyler was and just went in, closing the door behind me. Tyler, who had been busy with whatever it wa that he was doing, looked up at me with a frown.

“You don’t look okay.” He said, eyeing me and going back to what he was doing.
