Sheila’s POV

“You seem happy with the union,” Lisa said as I stepped into the house. Mom and Dad took Alfredo off my hands for me to prepare our room with the helpers as they hadn’t expected us to come so soon.

“I didn’t think you wanted to talk to me anymore,” I said as I took the stairs that would lead me to my room. Some helpers followed behind me with the bags we brought.

He had taken out his time to remove some clothes I packed for him, insisting that he had never worn so much.

My room was almost the same as his as I stepped in, except for my colors.

“What next?” Lisa asked. “You become a Luna a bear his offsprings?”

“That is the only thing we can do,” I said as I pulled the suitcase into my room. I opened it to find out he had taken quite a few clothes as I hung them in my wardrobe. The helpers continued with their job of cleaning.

Seven pairs of trousers, the same amount of shirts, three shoes in the black and brown region, and a pair of speakers. Some polish and sweatshirts

Melissa (Gabriella’s Pov)I woke up with a yawn, rubbing my protruding belly. Alpha Farrell had made it easy for me to do some house chores as the doctor advised I did light work. I knew they had questions for me, but my memory loss claim since the day I came had been a lifesaver. The bathroom welcomed me with my image reflecting on the mirror. Disheveled hair, saggy eyes, and a tantrum I never thought I had, more like a childish one. It didn’t matter that I was still one. The news of Alfredo’s wedding spread through the nightshade pack like fire. Alpha Farrell didn’t like the look of things as I had heard him talk about calling a meeting with the pack's elders. It didn’t matter to me as long as I could not see him and the same applied to him. Which meant he would never see his kids as long as I remained invisible. “Good morning, Gabriella,” the familiar ringing of his voice sounded outside my door. He had taken it as a routine to visit me every morning with a cup of coffee since th

Melissa (Gabriella’s Pov) I woke up without the familiar knocking from Alpha Farrell. “Is he tired of me already?” I said as I stood from my bed, walking to the bathroom to wash my face. Looks like nature had done its best to relieve me of my stress; I thought as I threw a smile at my reflection in the mirror.I was almost four months gone and could feel the movements in my stomach. Lyra had gone from worry to excitement, feeling another life, rather, two lives as she knew what dwelt inside me.“I’m coming,” I said excitedly as I heard a knock on my door. Although I knew he came every morning with a cup of coffee; it never dulled the feeling.I rushed to the door, tying my hair along the way. The door opened to show me another sight, with my excitement dying down like burning embers without wood.“Good morning, Gabriella.”I stopped, staring at Claire as she held a cup of steaming coffee in her hands.“Alpha Farrell asked me to bring you to the gardens,” she said as she stretched th

Alfredo’s Pov The bed felt uncomfortable to my body. I stood up walking to the window to stare at the sky. The sun was high in the sky, shedding its rays around me. Sheila slept peacefully, her soft snores caressing my ears at that moment, but it couldn’t lure me back to bed.“Where are you, Melissa?” I said as I looked outside; the wind rippling through the room and sending the curtains flailing to its touch. It’s been two weeks and I haven’t been able to leave the pack. A huge chunk of the reason was that I was Alpha now, and I was married, but most of the decision still laid on the shoulders of mother and Sheila’s father, yet they would not let me go out as I pleased.I gave a sigh as I relaxed on the windowsill, folding my hands across my chest.“We are not giving up our search for her, are we?” Dex asked. He must have sensed my troubled mind, but that was the most he could say, as we knew she hadn’t revoked the first bond, but the question remained. She only had to be in the sa

Sheila’s POV. I woke up, rubbing my hand across the bed to find it empty. I sat up with the speed of a chased hare, covering my eyes as the light phasing through the windows was blinding.“Where did he go?” I yawned as I rolled out of bed. I thought I would be tired after everything we’ve been through. I sighed as I walked to the bathroom. It still smelled of the soap he used to wash himself.“You’ve become obsessed with him,” Lisa said as I sniffed the air before turning on the shower to take my bath, regulating it to my desired temperature.“That’s what I can do,” I said with a smile, biting my lips as I took off my clothes. The water gave a sizzling feeling as it rained down my body. I moaned as delved into the pleasure of cleaning myself after another tiring day.I walked down the stairs to find Mom sitting with her face on the television. I knew she was watching a soap opera.“Where did they go to?”“Your father went for one of his meetings, and your mate went to stroll the pac

Alpha Farrell’s Pov. I sat on the tree top, watching as walked in the woods, twirling like she was a princess. No actions of hers showed she belonged to royalty, but I felt even if she didn’t. She had alpha blood running through her veins. Her protruding stomach wouldn’t let her move with the grace of a youthful body, but she moved gracefully, at least. I held my breath as she bent down to pick a flower, waiting to swoop in and save her if she made one wrong step.“That’s her.” The voices sounded close by. She must have heard it too, as she stopped to look around.“Who’s there?” She asked as she stood her ground. I sat still, watching and waiting as two men stepped on the grassy plain. Evil intent was written on their faces.“Wouldn’t you do something?” Ora asked as we watched the scene. He sounded hungry for action, as my routine had been around Gabriella lately.“They sounded like they knew her. We can only watch and see how much we can glean from them,” I answered him. The men we

Melissa (Gabriella’s Pov) I know someone carried me as I struggled in vain to break from the effect of the tranquilizer. It was okay I wasn’t dead, and I wanted to know who would send men after me. I forced my eyes open, but all I could see was static, feeling the thud of someone carry me away.“Is he going to know someone kidnapped me? What is he going to do if he finds out I’ve been kidnapped?” Those were the questions that ran through my mind with every step.I woke up gasping for air, feeling woozy from the tranq plus a slight headache from the light entering my eyes. My legs felt wobbly as I dropped them to the floor because I almost collapsed if I had not held onto something.“Who’s there?” I called out as I heard voices talking outside the door. I couldn’t tell where I was, blinded by both light and the haziness of the drug.“You should not be on your feet,” I heard a familiar voice as I almost fell once more.“Alpha Farrell.” I could almost feel a sob escaping my lips when I

Alpha Farrell’s Pov“Time to find out some truth,” I said as I walked out of Gabriella’s room. “What is the situation of things?”“They are in the dungeon,” Aiden said as he followed me, pushing the glass on his face back to his nose.“No information from any of them?” I asked as I strolled out of the house. I was going to walk to the dungeon instead of taking a car as I did with Gabriella when we first found her. The moon stood overhead us, slowly taking over from where the sun left.“They were shot with the tranquilizer they used on Gabriella and they should be awake at this moment as well.” He said as he followed me at my pace. I let out a groan as he should have told me this piece of information as well. I did not want to leave Gabriella alone or with his sister, but it did not matter at this moment as it was better to find some truth concerning her.“You should have told me it was speculation on your part,” I let out my thought. At least I was walking to the dungeon. It would t

Melissa (Gabriella’s Pov) I woke up to the sound of knocking. Claire was no longer sitting where she was before I fell asleep.“I’m coming!” I screamed as I dragged myself from the bed. My body still felt heavy after the tranq, but I felt lighter after the night’s rest.“I didn’t think you would sleep till that moment.”A smile crossed my face when I heard his voice, with the smell of coffee wafting through the door.“Shouldn’t you be with some prisoners by this time?” I asked as I opened the door. As usual, he stood with his blue eyes glinting in the morning, holding two cups of coffee in his hands. “Prisoners? I never knew I had prisoners,” he said as he placed the coffee in my hands. “Want to go for a walk or you would prefer to be in your room?”“I prefer the room today and I will not ask for any work today,” I said as I walked to my couch, moaning as I sat in the chair. He chuckled as he followed, sitting on the adjacent seat. “You said something about not having prisoners.”“T

Hello guys, so the last chapter was supposed to be an author's note. I'm not really familiar with the author's center interface, so please bear with me. So, guys, I understand that I haven't uploaded any chapters for over two months, and that's because of my health. I'm really really sorry about that, but my health is not entirely under my control. I had to rush the story even though I had a lot planned out(walking you guys through on how Claire was caught, and what happened with Alfredo and his family). I just had to wrap it up because I feel it's long overdue. I know many of you must have forgotten about one or two details regarding the story, but for every single one of you that sticked to the end, I'm super grateful 🙏🏽. This is actually my first story, and the love you guys showed me was immense. Thank you so very much, and God bless you all. I hope to see your support whenever I come up with a new story. Kindly leave your honest reviews and criticism, on the general comment

  • An Alpha’s Loss, Another’s Gain   Chapter 118

Alpha Farrell's POV Two Months Later. It's been two whole month since I found out that Gabriella and I were mates, and all the saga that led us to this moment. Alfredo has been stripped off his position as Alpha, and his family exiled from the Pack, they're basically rogues with nothing but scraps to feed on. Princess Sheila on the other hand, was given a more milde punishment. Lockhart was still under Nightshade's while she served as an omega in the Packhouse. This was the mildest punishment we could give her, since it was with her help I was able to locate Alfredo after he secretly changed the location where he held Gabriella and the boys. The first phone call I had received was from her. But Alfredo found out she was tipping me off, and used her to lure me into a trap. Where he used those rogues who attacked us to secretly inject us with wolfsbane, making us weak and powerless. Princess Sheila still came to the rescue, soon after Alfredo came to gloat while I was chained, and c

Melissa’s POV One month later. The gown in front of me was sparkling, casting glittering lights from its reflection as the helpers helped me don it.“It’s pretty, mummy,” Daemon said with his brother running behind him.The helpers stood at the door, stopping them from reaching me for fear of them ruining it.“Let them in,” I said, waiting for my boys to run into my arms. They came in haste, but mounting their distance, even as curiosity pushed at them to touch my gown.“My wife is going to wear one like this when I get married,” Damian said as he caressed the gown.I threw him a smile, bending as low as my gown would allow me to touch their heads. “Of course she would,” I said as I pinched his cheeks.“Are you ready?”I raised my head to meet Aiden as he stood in front of the room, dressed elegantly, for the matter. “I am.” The answer was no surprise for me as I straightened my gown while Aiden held out his arm for me.“You wouldn’t want to keep the groom waiting for too long,” he s

Gabriella’s POV I stood like a display doll in front of the entire Silverrose, as I listened to Alfredo give a glamorous speech to justify why he's an asshole.I can't wait for all this to be over so Alfredo can take me to see my voice. He has done all he can to break me, and since he wasn't succeeding, he stopped so low as using my boys, our kids to threaten me.‘I only want you Mel, we can make more babies,’ he said, holding a knife over Damian. My baby was so scared and called out to me for help but I couldn't do anything. Now in order to keep my kids alive, I'm subjecting myself to an eternity of hell on earth. But I can endure all that, as long as my boys are fine. The look on Farrell's face when I told him I wanted to be with Alfredo broke me every time I thought about it.Alfredo nudged me, which was his cue, telling me to smile. I forced a smile, as Alfredo took another gulp of wine.“You're mine forever now, Mel,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper as he brought out

Claire's POVToday makes it exactly four days since I saw Aiden and Alpha Farrell last. From what I was told, they suddenly got into their car and drove off. At first I was worried that maybe, somehow they'd figured out that Gabriella was in Silverrose Pack, but I called Alfredo and he confirmed that they never showed up at his Pack.I didn't take his words for it when he told me, but everywhere has been calm, and there's no way in hell that Alpha Farrell found Gabriella and Alfredo still have his head.“Don't get happy too quickly,” Anya said through the mindlink. “I’ve got a feeling that this is the calm before the storm.”“Yeah right,” I replied, rolling my eyes. “There's no storm coming. If there's one thing, the storm already happened and this is the calm after the storm.”“But–”“Not now, Anya!” I snapped. “Alfredo is going to mark and announce Gabriella as his Luna today, and we’re going to witness that alongside anybody,” I explained. “So, no matter what storms come after this

Alpha Farrell's PovHow we arrived at the location in the text was a total blur. The stone walls of the shrines were cracked and filled with overgrown vines. As we stepped towards the entrance of the shrine, the door to the shrine creaked open.“Ah, Alpha Farrell,” Alfredo called out gingerly, spreading his arms wide like he was seeing an old friend. “I must say, I'm disappointed you didn't send an official letter. I would have made your welcome, more… memorable,” he smirked.“Cut the crap, Alfredo!” I snarled, bringing out my claws, as I marched forward, Ora flashing in my eyes. “Where's Gabriella? Where are my boys?”“Your boys?” Alfredo chuckled darkly. “I think you're getting things wrong, Alpha Farrell,” he said, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “THEY ARE MY BOYS. And as for my MATE, I'm sure she doesn't want to see you.”“Alfredo!” I growled, charging towards him.“Farrell!” Aiden called out to me from behind.“What?!” I snapped irritatedly, turning sharply to face him

  • An Alpha’s Loss, Another’s Gain   Chapter 113

Alpha Farrell's POVIt's been three days since Aiden made me see things clearly, and honestly speaking, this has been the longest three days of my entire life. It actually felt like an eternity. I'm trying to do things Aiden's way but Ora isn't having it. He's beating himself up about not seeing through this and believing Gabriella won't just abandon us like that. The door to my study swung open and Aiden walked in."Any news from your guys?" I asked impatiently."Yes, they trace Alfredo to a secluded house at the outskirts of his Pack's territory," he explained. "One won't even guess something like that was there," he said. "They'll try and confirm if Gabriella and the boys are there tonight," he continued. "The place is heavily guarded, and if they're indeed there we wouldn't want to tip Alfredo off that we're on to him so we need to be careful and patient–""I don't have patience, Aiden," I said, my voice higher than usual. "I messed up, don't you get it?" I asked rhetorically. "I

Alpha Farrell's POVIt's been over two weeks and I felt like my life has been sucked out of me. The heavy stench of alcohol was the air I breathed in now, accompanied with the whimpering of my wolf, Ora. What was left of both of us was our brain refusing to accept that Gabriella was truly gone, she left us to be with that scumbag.I can't even tell what's happening physically and what's just a figment of my imaginations. For the first few nights Gabriella left, my nights were plagued with dreams of her returns, but for the rest of the night till now I couldn't tell the difference between day and night, I've been in a loophole of endless emotional torture. Why I feel this way, I had no idea. She wasn't my mate, I've never had one but I'm sure even wolf's that lost their mates didn't feel as empty as I'm feeling right now.Has Gabriella always been like this? Was I blinded by the soft spot Ora had towards her that I couldn't see the real her? All that filled my thoughts were countless q

Claire's POVIt's been two weeks since Melissa supposedly left Nightshades, and Alpha Farell has basically done nothing but locked himself up in his room, while the omega's dropped cartons of alcohol by his door. Most nights, we could hear him growling, it felt like a part of him left with that bitch. Well, I just need a chance to make him forget all about that bitch at the drop of a hat."Do you have everything that I asked for in there?" I overheard Aiden's voice, it was coming from the kitchen."Yes, Beta Aiden," an omega responded.Curiosity got the better of me, and since I was practically idle at the moment I decided to go find out what's happening."Hey Aiden, what's happening?" I asked ,as I saw trays of different foods lined up."Nothing, just want to take this food to Alpha Farell," he responded and got back to dishing out orders."Isn't this a bit too much?" I asked. "He hasn't eaten for two weeks now, the last thing he'll want is too much food.""I don't know," Aiden said
