"Forgive Reymond and Alfie," Matthew said as he entered his room. Anne, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, immediately turned to face Matthew, who was now walking towards her. It seemed that Anne's heart was so hurt that she couldn't smile.

"Blame me, blame me for her behavior," Matthew said. Anne did not answer at all but continued to stare at her husband for a very long time.

It was only when Matthew sat down next to her that Anne spoke. "Never mind, Reymond is like that. They must have forgotten who their mother was." Anne said with a bland smile.

"I shouldn't be their mother, we were different from the start," Anne added, looking at Matthew.

 Matthew sighed and hugged Anne.

Suddenly, they were startled by a knock on the door from outside. Matthew immediately let go of her hug as the door to the room opened wide.

"Alfie," Anne called. Matthew got up and stood when he saw Alfie open the door.

"Mom ...."

"What are you doing here?" asked Matthew, who seemed to be putting some distance between Alfie and Anne. The man was still angry at the behavior of his two sons.

"I'm here to apologize to Mom and Dad," Alfie replied.

Matthew gave Anne a quick look and left the room. "Follow me," he ordered Alfie.

Alfie stared in surprise as Matthew left. Alfie stared at Anne for a second and then followed Matthew. His footsteps stopped in the living room and Alfie's gaze was drawn to Raymond sitting in front of his father.

"Sit down," Matthew ordered. Alfie looked at him for a moment and then sat down next to Raymond. Now they sat side by side, but there was no sound from either of them.

Matthew gave both his sons a sharp look.

"Do you regret it? Tell me if you do."

Alfie and Raymond just shut up and stared at each other. Then they said, "Sorry." That was all that came out of their mouths.

Matthew tried to maintain his emotionless composure. He exhaled repeatedly as he looked at his two sons together.

"Raymond," Matthew called. Reymond looked up. "Never bring up humans and werewolves again. If you don't want to introduce yourself or even talk to Amelie, that's fine. But never bring up humans and werewolves. Besides insulting your mother, it's also dangerous for us. You have to remember that we live in the human world," Matthew stressed.

"And you, Alfie, you must also watch your temper. Don't always get into fights over little things. You messed up dinner and insulted your mother."

"Sorry," Alfie said again.

"Go and apologize to your mother."

Alfie and Reymond were stunned as they looked at Matthew. They exchanged glances and then stood up. Before they left the room, they looked at each other sharply and then walked to Anne's room. Upstairs, Jacob shook his head. He was tired of Alfie and Raymond's arguments.

"It's strange. They never get along," Jacob added, then walked down the stairs.

Meanwhile, in the room, Amelie also received a rebuke from Lauren. An unwarranted reprimand.

"What did you do to make them fight?" Lauren asked after punching Amelie in the shoulder.

Amelie winced as she held her shoulder. Then she glared at Lauren.

"I did nothing wrong." Amelie defended herself. "I prepared dinner, then introduced myself, then left...done! Where did I go wrong? Didn't you see it too?" Amelie said in a raised voice.

Lauren was always like that, scolding Amelie for no apparent reason. It didn't mean that Lauren didn't love her, it was just that the woman was afraid that Amelie would make trouble for those who weren't human.

Lauren served the Reid family for 20 years. The ups and downs Lauren went through, as well as Matt's werewolf identity, Lauren already knew.

"What's wrong with you, why are you always yelling at me?" Amelie looked annoyed as she continued to question Lauren.

Lauren sat next to her. "I'm just scared, scared that you're going to make a mistake," Lauren said, looking at Amelie. "They and we are different, I'm just afraid you're in danger if you play with them. We should never get close and we should keep our distance."

"Without being told, I'm also self-conscious. I'll never get close, let alone intimate, I'm just a servant and you're my boss. You always remind me of that, Lauren."

Her tone was annoying. Amelie took the book and left the room. Lauren was still staring silently at Amelie's departure.

"Should I just tell her?" I don't know what Lauren meant.

About Amelie.

"What's wrong with her, why does she always yell at me? She shouldn't have brought me here if I was going to embarrass her." Amelie grumbled.

Amelie grumbled. Carrying her book, Amelie went to the backyard, and after finding an empty chair, Amelie sat down. But just as the butt landed, Amelie was startled by something horrible visible in front of her eyes.

A large wolf was howling loudly. Amelie's eyes widened until she was transfixed. The book she was holding fell over as her body trembled at the sight of the huge, terrifying creature.

"Wolf," she said fearfully.

Immediately, Amelie's body hit the ground. As the wolf turned towards her. Amelie fell unconscious after seeing Raymond shift. Raymond's anger was uncontrollable, so he changed his form into a terrible monster.

Raymond succeeded in shifting again, now his form has returned to human form. Raymond moved closer to Amelie.

"That girl... did she see me shifting? Oh shit! Why does that girl always bother me?"

Reymond looked annoyed. But it was impossible to let Amelie sleep in the garden overnight. Finally, his cold attitude was defeated by Amelie, which forced Raymond to put Amelie on his lap. Suddenly, however, his eyes closed and his nose twitched as he smelled a pungent odor.

"What is it? This smell... whose pheromones?"

His sense of smell was very keen. Raymond scanned the garden, looking for a girl who might be a werewolf. The strong smell of pheromones convinced Raymond that the girl was nearby.

Amelie moved to a chair and then moved away. Raymond continued to search for the scent but found no one. The pheromones had made him fall in love, and Raymond was eager to find her. Little did he know, the scent came from Amelie's pheromones. Raymond didn't notice because he thought Amelie was just an ordinary person.

While Amelie.

"Ah! Wolf!" she cried as she woke up. Amelie was stunned for a moment as she looked around the deserted park. Then her eyes fell on the chair she was sitting in.

"Was I dreaming?" she monologued, "Did I sleep here? I thought I saw a huge wolf, so real it turned out to be... it was just a dream." Cursing, Amelia hit herself on the head.

Amelie got off the chair and looked for her book, which had fallen. After picking it up, Amelie left the garden and went back to the room. As for Raymond, he came out from behind the tree. He looked at Amelie with relief because Amelie thought it was all a dream.

"It's a good thing she didn't see it. I have to be careful now," Raymond said.

***

Arriving at the room, Amelie stopped her steps as she passed Lauren. Their behavior was still awkward after the argument earlier. Amelie was still silent and so was Lauren, both were very stubborn, not wanting to give in.

In the end, they didn't say anything. Lauren went into the kitchen

and Amelie entered the room.

"What's this?" said Amelie, staring at the pair of school uniforms on her bed. As she approached the bed, her hand quickly picked up the new school uniform.

Immediately, Amelie ran to meet Lauren in the kitchen.

"What's this?" she asked. Lauren, who was doing the dishes, turned around.

"Your school uniform," Lauren replied quickly. Then she turned back to the sink and began to wash her dirty dishes.

Not satisfied with that answer, Amelie moved closer to Lauren. She was still hugging her uniform.

"Thank you," Amelie said simply.

"Madame Anne gave it to me," Lauren replied.

"I'll thank her later, too," Amelie replied.

"Get some sleep because you have to go to school tomorrow. Madame Anne was good, I don't want you to disappoint her."

"Sure. I'll go tomorrow with all my heart. Do I have to give her a present?"

"No need," Lauren argued. "Just go to your room and get some sleep." Lauren's command could no longer be refused.

Lauren turned her back on Amelie as she continued her work. Meanwhile, Amelie walked toward the room. But her steps suddenly stopped, as if she remembered something.

And sure enough. Amelie was walking back to Lauren who was doing the dishes.

"Mmm... can I ask you a question?" Lauren stopped scrubbing. Her hands were still full of soapsuds, but she stopped to look at Amelie.

"Have you seen anything creepy while you've been working here? I just saw a wolf out back. It was like a huge monster. Is this place ....?"

"When are you going to obey me, Amelie?" argued Lauren.

"Yes?" asked Amelie confused.

"I told you to go to your room and sleep. Forget everything you saw and heard."

"I don't understand!" Amelie whined. "What does what you said have to do with what I saw earlier? Is that why you want me to forget everything I saw?"

"Amelie," Anne called. Amelie turned to Anne who was standing in the doorway. She didn't know how long Anne had been standing there.

Lauren and Amelie both bowed.

Anne moved closer to Amelie. She asked. "I heard that you saw a monster in this house. Did you see it, Amelie?" Anne asked.

Amelie was stunned. She tried to remember if what she had seen was real or just a hallucination.

"I thought I saw it, but... when I woke up, I woke up from my sleep. Turns out I fell asleep in the garden."

Anne smiled at Amelie's explanation. Then she said, "You were just dreaming. There are no monsters or ghosts here. Maybe you are tired, now go to your room and sleep. You have school tomorrow, don't you?"

"Yes, Mrs. Anne. Amelie also wants to thank you for sending me to school," Amelie said with a smile.

"No need to thank me. I'm happy to send you to school." Anne said as she rubbed Amelie gently. Amelie said goodbye to Anne and went to her room.

Now it was just Lauren and Anne. They were silent for a while before Anne finally spoke. "I hope you won't tell Amelie."

"Of course not. I'll keep the Reid family a secret," Lauren said, and Anne agreed.

After the agreement, Anne left. No one was to know who her husband and son were. Some people might see the presence of a werewolf in their world as a threat, even though Matthew is a good werewolf.

"Amelie!" "Hi, Viona!" Amelie smiled as she turned to Viona. She stopped the footsteps that were about to enter the packhouse and turned back to Viona. "It's hard to get to you right now, you have to go through the forest, bushes and a pretty muddy road. You see this ...." Viona showed her muddy sneakers. Amelie just smiled."You're laughing at me," Viona swore, smacking her lips. "It's all because of last night's rain," she added."Your arduous journey will be worth it once you get here. Isn't this forest beautiful? You used to live here, too, didn't you?" "But now I'm happy living with humans," Viona replied with a charming smile. "After getting to know humans, their lives are so peaceful. There are no enemies, let alone bloodshed like ours."Amelie let out a long sigh. "That's one of the reasons why I don't accept myself as a werewolf." There was silence for a while. Before Viona finally spoke again."Are you going to stay here forever? Won't you go back to Reid's family? Th

In the depths of the Forbidden Forest, a place that is both home and bloody battleground for the werewolf nation, the scent of wet earth and lingering blood still hangs in the air. The towering trees seemed to hide the sky, and the wind carried whispers of an unfinished past.Amelie's footsteps walked slowly across the ground littered with battle scars. The sound of rustling leaves under her boots mingled with the rustle of the wind through the branches. The battle between the brothers of the past was not over. Amelie scanned the forest that had always been present in her dreams. In front of her, Edmond ran, his body covered in blood, but a black wolf jumped up and clawed at his body.Amelie closed her eyes as Matt's image pierced Edmond's heart with his silver sword. "So all this time it wasn't just a dream, but..." In the suffocating silence, Amelie's thoughts stopped at one name - Matt."He killed Edmond," Kenn's voice still rang clearly in her ears, full of drive and pent-up an

The air in the packhouse was colder than usual, even though there was a fire burning in the fireplace in the main room. No one spoke. Just the sound of breathing-heavy and labored.Matt stood in the middle of the room, his body still wrapped in bandages, the wounds from the fight not completely healed. But it wasn't the pain that made his jaw clench. It was the fact that two of his three children... were raising their claws to put him down.Raymond and Alfie sat on the sofa with their heads down. Not daring to look at their father, neither could they look at Jacob - their brother, who now stood by Matt's side, a look of disappointment and anger in his eyes."Dad..." Raymond opened his mouth, his voice soft.Matt raised his hand to stop him."Don't call me that," Matt said coldly. "You lost that right on the field of battle when you chose to stand up and beat your father, you were on the side of the enemy, not your own family."Raymond clenched his hands, still holding the doubt and co

As Kenn threw his silver knife and the weapon shot toward Matt's neck, something unexpected happened.A shadow quickly jumped out of a dark bush and knocked the knife out of the air. The silver knife was thrown and stuck in a tree, far from the target. Kenn was startled, his footsteps stopped.A tall man with piercing eyes and a chilling aura emerged from behind the trees. His hair was dark, his face was hard, and from his muscular build and the claws peeking out from under his fingers, it was clear that he was no ordinary human."Jacob," Kenn murmured in a low but angry voice.Amelie stiffened. "Jacob, what are you doing?" asked Raymond, standing with heavy breathing, his wounds still oozing.Jacob looked at her with a small, mocking smile. "You ask what I did, Raymond? I did what I was supposed to, but you betrayed your pack. You're supposed to protect your Alpha, not oppose him. You traitor!" Then he turned to Matt, who was still half kneeling, blood dripping from his shoulders. "

"Amelie!" Along with Kenn's cry, the two objects appeared behind the main door. Amelie was stunned when she saw Alfie and Viona. It wouldn't be surprising if they knew where Kenn lived, since it was their world and Alfie and Viona had delivered him when he had fainted."Guys," Kenn said, looking at them in surprise. Kenn walked down the stairs step by step until he was in front of Alfie and Viona. "What a coincidence that you are here. Viona, we need to get back to town, I'm worried about Lauren." "Not now Amelie," Viona said, stopping Amelie from walking past her. "Why?" asked Amelie, looking at Viona. Kenn smiled wryly. He was glad that Viona's words meant that Kenn didn't have to bother to stop the stubborn girl."It's not okay outside. Things are getting chaotic, werewolves are attacking people just because they saw the pendant," Viona explained, confusing Amelie even more. "I don't understand why they're attacking people." Amelie wouldn't understand until Viona explained e

"Stand up everyone!" The voice echoed through the room in unison, followed by the werewolves, who immediately retreated from their seats as Matt arrived. Matt gathered his entire pack around him about yesterday's battle. Jacob, who had arrived at the same time as Matt, walked over to the crowd of his members who had gathered there. Only Raymond and Alfie were absent this time, which made the other members wonder.Everyone returned to their seats as Matt took his place of power. "What happened yesterday? Why is there a fight I don't know about? Aren't you supposed to move on my orders?" Matt's eyes scanned every inch of their faces. "This is beyond our expectations," one man replied. "We're attending a party Alberry is throwing for one of the White Claws. He's throwing a party to trap the woman who's supposed to be Edward's daughter, and she has a blue gem pendant."The explanation from one of his pack members made Matth pause and then look at Jacob angrily. Jacob was silent only b
