2024-10-29 19:42:56Amelia stares at the framed photograph of her and Damian that was hanged by the servants on the wall by the grand staircase of the mansion. Damian had told Alfred to hang the photo where everyone can see it easily so Alfred chose the empty spot by the staircase.
Amelia noticed that Damian’s eyes weren’t facing the camera and instead, it was glued onto her. ‘Why was he looking at me?’ Amelia asked in her mind before walking away back to the library with Helga and Maisy on her back, following quietly behind her and Iago walking behind them.
Amelia picked out a book and sat down carefully on her couch before opening her book to read. Maisy smiles at Amelia suspiciously which made Amelia laugh. “Why are you smiling like that, Maisy?” she asked.
Maisy's smile grew wider when she heard Amelia’s question. “Hehe, nothing young madam. I’m just feeling happy today” she said and giggled.
