"Amelia," her mother said with a sad smile.
Both of them stood up and walks towards their daughter. Amelia bit her lip, preparing herself for anything that could happen.
Amelia's gaze was still on the floor when she felt the warm embrace of her mother. Her eyes widened in surprise at her mother's unexpected response. "We love you, our sweet Lia. We always do" her mother whispered softly while gently tightening her embrace.
Amelia tears up at her mother's words. She started to cry as she returns her mother's hug. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry" She said repeatedly while gripping her mother's clothes.
"Shh, it's okay. It's not your fault" her mother calmly said as she caresses her daughter's hair.
