I look at him surprised, no apologies, he has to leave? I mean this man makes millions per second, can this wait, on the other hand I am actually really grateful for this change in plans, I can get drunk with Anna, watch movies and have a really long nap.
“Drop me off at Anna’s,” I say to him,
“Anna’s place” he says to his driver and begins to make another phone call, I zone off.
“darling, we are here” I turn to face him, half expecting him to offer me his suit jacket, he did rip my dress off, he leans over and gives me a kiss “good night baby, I love you, would give you a call, say hello to Anna” he says,

I open the door and immediately the cold breeze hits me, I shiver, I turn around deciding to ask for the jacket myself, since he was never going to offer even at this point, before I could open the door, the car immediately speeds off,
I rush up into the building, people staring at me like i'm insane, well I do look insane I immediately cover my face with my hair, in a desperate attempt to avoid been recognized by anyone, I dash towards the elevator and press the button 24, why does Anna have to live on the highest floor I groan, my head is bent, running my palms over my hands to try to keep warm, it’s really freezing , finally the elevator door opens indicating I’m on Anna’s floor, I rush to the door, punch in her code, hurriedly running up the stairs to get to the bathroom to wash off in a hot bath, and to avoid Anna from seeing the state of her dress but that does not go as planned.
“Bloody hell!” Anna screams, “What happened to you? Oh my goodness! The dress!” she comes closer to me and gives me a hug and looks at me waiting for my reply, I just stand there feeling really numb
“I am cold, and dirty can I take a hot shower first?” I say in an apologetic tone, “No problem, I would be downstairs, would make you a hot cup of coffee, I just ordered Chinese, your ring looks gorgeous though” she said, giving me an apologetic smile in return.
I took my time trying to wash away my mind and dwell in the silence, finally I decide it is okay now.
I stay in the second guest room, whenever she has a boy over, but most times I sleep on the same bed with Anna, I quickly dry up, I’m starving, I put on white undies, Nike sweatpants and Nike long sleeves, hurriedly making my way down the stairs.
I sit on the sofa and Anna hands a cup of hot coffee,
“Now tell me exactly what happened, and don’t you dare try to lie to me”
I begin to tell her every single detail, how he proposed, the dinner, how he hungrily tore my dress and fucked me like a prostitute without caring if it’s pleasurable or not, how he left me cold and went off for his trip,
Anna listened without interrupting me and I noticed she would clench her jaw once in a while as I spoke,
I finally finished narrating my night,
“Let's get drunk sweetie and eat some real food” I did not need a pep talk or a pity talk, Anna knew me enough to know what I needed at that moment and I am very thankful for that.
