Chapter Fifty-three

Lina POV.

Waking up I am feeling incredibly warm, so warm it is making me feel kind I am burning up. Looking around I see I am alone in the room, so I get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I turn on the shower and make sure the water is cold stepping under it, I feel a little better almost immediately. I don’t know for how long I am standing there, but getting out I start to feel warm again After only a second.

I walk into the bedroom and now see the note on the bedtable, it’s from Alex telling me he is sorry not being here if I wake up before he is back. But he had some things that needed to be done. And the note ends with telling me to mindlink him if I wake up.

“Alex?” I ask trying to mindlink him.

“Lina, You awake!” He sounds relieved.

“Yes. Why do you sound like I’ve been sleeping for days.”

“Because you have a baby, you feel sleeping for two days.” I am a little shocked
