Chapter twenty five

Knowing that Shanaya was out there was very unsettling for the whole pack. Knowing she would want revenge on Aurora made me more than anxious.
However I had other things that needed to be sorted first, like Aurora and what exactly she is capable of. When we first found out she was part elf she has shoved it aside and not wanted to deal with it, me on the other hand has been trying to do as much research as possible without anyone finding out.
There isn't much information on the internet about it and what is there is just a pile of crap. I needed the old books that my father keeps in his private library, but they would not be easy to get to. The only other option is Aurora's Mum.
The time was now though Aurora needs to put her feelings aside for her Mum and find out what we need to know because she can't keep going like this and even though I know she is mad at her Mum I know she misses her too, as well as her brother's.

AURORA'S POV Hearing that from my Mum was not the easiest information to hear. Why would I that is only half elf get one of the strongest powers? Why does it turn you evil? Will my wolf help stop it? All these questions going around in my head and no answers to any of them. "How can I control my power? " "That I can not help you with but I have a couple of books that you could have that may have some answers in there for you." I nod to her and she leaves the kitchen to go get them. The front door then opens and in walks Riggs. He comes straight to me and gives me one of his bones crushing hugs. "Nice to see you too." I say with a huge grin on my face. "What you doing here little sis? Been ages since I saw you." "It hasn't been that long since you saw me it's only been about a two weeks." "Well seems longer and you haven't answered my question." I didn't know how to answer him, he didn't know about any of this.

"Aurora?" he called out with a raspy voice."Yes that's me.""Follow me inside."We followed him and walked through the small front door. What shocked me the most was walking into a mansion sized house. The next day I woke up and I felt a bit weird, I didn't know what it was but something seemed off. After a while I out it down to using all that power yesterday and my body not been used to it. I got up and got in the shower, I didn't have much to do today so I took my time in there and when I for out too time drying and doing my hair into a nice french plat. We woke up the next morning and we were both so sore, our muscles ached and between my legs well out it this way I would be shocked if I could walk right today. I lay there for a while trying to fight my bladder but was finally defeated. I groaned as I tried to get up."You sore?""That is an understatement, I know you are too." DAX'S POVI was petrified, I didn't know where Aurora was and she needed me. I had been in a mood with her all morning just because she chose to mark me when she was in heat. DAX'S POVThe doctor was stood at the door and he seemed to be taking forever on opening his mouth and letting me know if Aurora was ok or not and it wasn't just me that was anxious. DAX'S POVI change into my wolf Edon and running as fast as I can everything I pass is just a blur. I need to get to these rouge's, finish them off and get back to Aurora. Through the pack link everyone is letting us know where the rouge's are and they are everywhere. I head to where the most seem to be, knowing that is where I could help the most and that my Dad would be there and that we work best as a team.I get there and I can't believe how many there are and in the middle is my Dad fighting off six rouge's at once. It was three days after the fight had finished. The funerals for all our fallen pack was done the day after the fight. The Alpha's funeral the day after that as it was not the same as the other funerals. It was so heartbreaking for all of the pack to have lost their Alpha. Many came over to Dax to offer their sympathies. I just held onto him not knowing how else to help him. I could feel his pain and knew there wasn't any thing I could do to take his pain away. Waking up I feel the warmth of Dax's body against mine just like it is every morning. I lay there and remember that I was meeting Sue for a coffee this morning, so I throw my arm out of the covers and feel around for my phone off the bedside table and open on eye to look at the time. Sitting down with Richard and Riggs in front of me, I didn't know how to say the words to them. How do I tell them out Mum is dead and she is gone because she saved me so it is all my fault. After our amazing sex I start filling Dax in on everything my Mum had told us. He wasn't too pleased about all the lies, but he could understand why she did it.The next couple of week were spent just trying to sort everything out after the fight.
