Chapter thirty two
DAX'S POV
I change into my wolf Edon and running as fast as I can everything I pass is just a blur. I need to get to these rouge's, finish them off and get back to Aurora. Through the pack link everyone is letting us know where the rouge's are and they are everywhere. I head to where the most seem to be, knowing that is where I could help the most and that my Dad would be there and that we work best as a team.
I get there and I can't believe how many there are and in the middle is my Dad fighting off six rouge's at once. I don't hesitate I jump straight in tearing them apart. I slash them with my claws, tear them apart with my teeth. I get to my Dad and we stand back to back to protect each other and we go in a circle taking out wolves one by one.
"Half of you go and move to another area to help the others me and Dax have got this." My Dad says through the pack mind link.

Alpha Chapter thirty three
It was three days after the fight had finished. The funerals for all our fallen pack was done the day after the fight. The Alpha's funeral the day after that as it was not the same as the other funerals. It was so heartbreaking for all of the pack to have lost their Alpha. After everything that went down at the meeting the other week. I couldn't be more happy, at least most have them have accepted me even though they know about my powers and that I'm part elf.However the feeling of how upset Dax is is making it hard to be happy about it and I have no idea how to help him.He has spent the last few weeks diving into his Alpha role that I have hardly seen him, except when he is passing out from all the hard work of the day. DAX'S POVI know I'm pushing myself too hard and pushing people away but right now I don't know how to stop doing it. I never wanted to feel the pain of what I felt after I lost my Mum, but somehow this is worse. Not that I loved my Dad more than my Mum just I lost my Alpha aswell as my Dad. He showed me how to ride a bike, how to fight and how to lead people and he did it all after loosing his mate. AURORA'S POVseeing Dax standing at the bottom of the stairs I didn't know what to expect from him, was he mad at me? DAX'S POVThings were just not adding up from the start of all of this.Shanaya escaping, Nelson knowing about Riggs and just loads of other little things. AURORA'S POVThis last week has been a lot better with Dax, I have seen him more, he has been working less and we are spending quality time together when we are with each other.I can feel his anger and his stress through our mate link, but he controls it and deals with it where before he wasn't.I found out through the chatter that there was an altercation with Nelson, Dax and Riggs. I got home after spending all day with Sue and away from Dax, I didn't realise how much I missed him until now. I pick my pace up and go to his office thinking he would be in there but he wasn't, do I make my way to our room but he isn't in there either. I was about to turn and go find him when I notice a dress hung up on the wardrobe door that I had not seen before.I walk to it and there is a note attached. I would love for you to wear this dress and meet me downstairs in the living room. I'm smiling from ear to ear. I look at the dress and it is beautiful. I wasn't sure when I was going to tell Dax what the guy who attacked me said because I knew he was going to flip out and I knew I wasn't going anywhere no matter what that guy said.
