Chapter six

My mate, that was not what I was expecting her to say at all. 

"How can that be when the pull is always in the same place?"  

"I do not know that is for you to figure out." 

The next day I arrange for me and Jack to head back to Alpha Derreks pack, just for me to try find what is going on and if that really was the pull to my mate.

When I arrive I am told by the Beta of his pack

"Alpha Derrek is sorry but he is unable to attend a meeting today as something very important has come up that needed to be attended to immediatly and he hopes you understand. Now Jerry here will escort you to your vehicles." 

"I am sure we can find our vehicles by ourselves thank you." we turn around and start heading towards our car, but before we get to them I look around and make sure no one is watching us. 

Jack this way. He looks confused but keeps up with me. 

I feel the pull once more and I follow it. Jack close on my heels. 

We head through a heavy wooded area and the pull is getting stronger. 

There in the middle of the wood was a small bricked building. A few guards surrounding the outisde of it. What is going on here? I needed to see if my mate was in there, but how could I when there was so many guards? I get a little bit closer and then 

"Mate." Lupa my wolf says.

So she was in there. Now I just needed to go and find a way to get to her, as just me and Jack were not enough to take on the whole pack if it came to that to get her. There must be a reason she was a in a building in the midde of the forest with guards surrounding her.  What was happening here? Was she someone special to the pack that they protected her like this? Or were they working on something they didn't want anyone else to know about either way I needed more warriors with me. I didn't want to hurt anyone, but for me to get into that building I needed a fee more wolves to knock out the guards at the same time so that they couldn't mind link their pack. 

Me and Jack got back in the car and I told him to get back to our pack land as quick as possible. 

As soon as we pulled up I was mind linking the warriors of our pack to meet us. 

We didn't have long to wait before the all turned up.

"look everyone, there is a building in their land that has guards surrounding it. I don't fully know what is in there but I want to know, now we are going back there as soon as it turns dark. We will need to knock the guards out all at the same time. I don't want this turning into a war are we all clear?" 

"Yes Alpha." Rang out 

The rest of the day was spent discussing layout and who was going to be where. Then we had the drive back there again. 

We had timed it perfectly by the time we got there it was long dark, we parked a little bit away from the land and quietly snuck back onto their land making sure we avoided the wolves on patrol. Most of the general wolves were not around which is what we wanted. 

"let's get to our places, everyone let me know when your there." I spoke to them using the pack mind link I didn't want to risk anyone hearing us. 

I could see my wolves all move forward towards their targets. I get to my place and wait. 

I get my first "ready" and within moments the rest of them follow. 

"Right on the count of three we move. One, two, three." We all moved and knocked out the guard wolves. I came up behind my guard and wrapped my arms around his neck, he tried to claw my arm off him but I didn't let go until I knew he was unconscious, I laid his body down onto the ground and as I stood up, this is when shit kicked off. Someone must have been seen by one of the other packs wolves because within a few seconds of us knocking out the wolves loads of the other packs warrior wolves were here and ready to fight. 

I speak to them not wanting this to turn into a war. 

"We didn't come here to fight." But they were not listening. 

"Stand your ground but try not to kill unless you have to try to just disable them." 

We needed to win, I wasn't leaving here without my mate and hopefully all my warriors. 

They all charged towards us. 

Claws and teeth flying all around us. My pack was trained very well and we were easily holding our own against them without injuries on either side, until there was no more awake wolves on their side. 

"Alpha what do you want us to do now." Jack asks. 

"Move towards the car do whatever you need to, to make it back to the cars." 

They all start moving but then they notice I'm not going with them. 

"Alpha?" 

"I need to get into that building, you go now that is an order." 

"Yes Alpha." Jack wasn't too happy about leaving me but even he couldn't disobey a direct order from his Alpha. 

They all move towards the cars, once they have managed to make it to the covering of the trees I turn and focus on getting to my mate. 

I open the door and walk down a corridor, I stop as I can hear two male voices up ahead. 

I sneak closer and closer and look around the corner as much as I can. There are two wolves stood at either side of a what looks like a very strong wooden door. I run towards them as quick as I can and within seconds I am on them. Their head whipped around just as I got to them. I quickly grabbed one of them and swung him around and grabbed him from behind and held his neck just like the guard from outside. The other wolf came at me and tried to punch me, with one arm I blocked the punch and threw one of my own, he ducked out of the way just in time. The wolf in my arms had stopped clawing at my arm so I knew he was out, I didn't have time to lower him nicely so I let him drop. Then it was just me and one guard. He came towards me again and he was throwing his arms and legs at me, but there was no skill I dodged everyone of them and threw a couple of punches to his gut enough to make him bend over and I sent my knee up to his face. He flew backwards and was sprawled out on the floor with a little bit of blood coming from his nose. 

I try the door it is locked only one way to get in now and that was to rip the door off. 

I use my strength and grab the handle and use my shoulder to barge into it, it comes away and and as the shower of splintered wood stop and look up and there she is more beautiful than I could have ever thought, she had long black hair that made her bright blue eyes shine even brighter as she looks at me. 

"Mate." Comes out of my mouth. 

She gasps. Then I notice she is tied down. My anger boils up but I knew I couldn't lose it right now I needed to get her out of here. I run over to the bed and rip the leather straps off her. I pick her up and she weighs hardly anything, I can feel her hard bones through her clothes. 

I start walking back towards the now hole in the wall when I feel a pull. I look and see she is attached to drip. I lay her back down needing both of my hands to help her. 

"This won't hurt." I tell her needing to comfort her as much as possible. I pick her back up and the smell of strawberries hits me again. I feel her relax a little and sink into me.  

After a few minutes of walking I feel her getting more and more distressed so I stop. 

"Don't worry my mate you are safe now, whoever did that to you will pay."

What I wasn't expecting was her reply, in such a sweet and soft voice she says 

"It was Alpha Derek, he is an Alpha he will keep me from you." No one was going to keep her away from me. We say a few more words and carry on towards the cars. Then Jack is here asking me who I am carrying. I know I needed to tell him now. 

"She is my mate and she needs to be protected at all costs until we get her back to our pack." He seems shocked but still replies with 

"Yes Alpha." 

We keep walking and I see my wolves fighting, I wanted to help them but I need to get her to safety. 

Then I hear a loud voice telling me she is his and to put her down. 

I put her down and place myself in front of her, as my anger boils up again she is no one's but mine. 

I turn to face Derek and he is shocked it is me. I can see the fear on his face. He knows what me and my pack are capable of and now I am not just here with one other wolf.

" What are you doing with her." 

"She is my mate." He now looks petrified. 

" I am leaving with her do not try to stop me." I turn back around and pick her back up. 

"This is not the end of this she is mine." As much as I wanted to turn around and rip his throat out, I don't I wanted my pack and my mate out safely.  

I call all my warriors to me and we all get into the cars and back to our land, no one is hurt other than a few scratches and I my mate tucked up against me where no one was going to hurt her.
