Sebastian was running through a field of thorns.
There weren’t even any roses—just those prickly little thorns piercing into his skin, drawing blood. He could hear a voice calling his name.
Sebastian.
His muscles worked harder to push further. To keep him going. Anything to get him to… to where? It was less of a field and more of a huge bush. Every move he made thickened the thorns, and they went deeper into his skin.
Sebastian.
He bit his lip hard, begging his eyes to stop burning with tears. He needed to get away. He needed to run-
Alpha!
He stopped dead in his tracks. No matter how much he begged his feet to move, they wouldn’t. Slowly, the field started clearing. The thorns started shrinking, till they started looking like…people. The longer he stood there frozen, the more defined the faces were becoming. He didn’t recognize any of the faces, until… Xavier!
He could see Xavier’s face, and
Hi guys! So I've worked on the story and I hope you like this. This week, I'll be posting a minimum of once every day since I'll be going to school soon. Thanks for the love and support!
They knew they had to hide it. No one could ever know about the strange pull they felt towards each other. Not while they had no idea what it was. Eve felt energized. Like she'd been charged up for hours on end. The doctors, who had already been planning to declare her dead, were astonished. How on earth could someone so dead be so... alive?Eve returned to the pack house a few days later, with Xavier beside her, and Sebastian behind. Exactly the way it was supposed to be. It was late at night when they got back to Xavier's house, and as soon as she stepped in, a loud bang rang through. "Shit!" Eve cursed, as her heart started pounding. She was about to start channeling her magic when she heard 'SURPRISE!' and people started to gather round and give her hugs. Xavier looked down at Eve and tugged at her hand. "I'm going to go talk to the cheif for a while. Stay with Sebastian, kay?" She nodded with a small smile. Sebastian moved forward to stand beside her, trying to ignore the fo
A Week Before The Wedding The sun peeked through my curtains and mercilessly glared at me, making me scrunch up my nose. I felt around for my cell phone and grabbed it, peeling my eyes open to look at the time. 6:57am. The day had begun. I stripped and slipped into my workout clothes and made my way through my house, headed for the gym. The portrait of Andre, my best friend, smiled at me. After a series of accidents, and one to many people-popsicles, we’d figured out that my powers were most out of control before I had my morning two-hour workout. I loved doing abs above everything else, but I danced for cardio. Today was going to be a lot longer than two hours. There was tension in the air. Everyone could tell from how silent it was. A few months before, an elder from t
6th of October, 2014 I crawl through the hole, feeling the soil push back against me. I can only hold my breath for so long. I can hear the thumping of the warrior’s boots against the ground as the fight for victory in the war. A war I caused. A beam of light shines in my direction and I almost cry out in relief. My knees move quickly, racing towards the beam of hope. I’m almost there. A few more inches. My fingers reach out to grasp the opening- Then it’s all gone. There’s no war, two hundred warriors didn’t meet their demise because of me. It’s the fourth time I’ve dreamed about the war in the week, and it’s only Wednesday. The sun peeks through the white curtains, blasting my eyelids with heat. Groaning softly,
14th of October, 2016“Evelyn?” His voice was quiet and full of wonder, giving me the idea that I’d fulfilled my the first step to my mission. “It’s Eve now, actually.” I smiled at him, moving to plop down on the seat between the two most important people in my mission. “Can we make this quick? I have somewhere I need to be.” I glanced at my watch with a faux frustrated expression. “Um… of course… Eve.” He awkwardly cleared his throat. Ajax and Xavier are simply staring at me with weird expressions. I needed a proper reaction. Elder Markus opened a drawer and pulled out a thick stack of papers, dumping them on the table before us. I leaned in, reading the bottom part where the signatures were. And there it was, my father’s signature. I could still recognize it from all the years I’d spent snooping through his office papers. “So… what does all this mean?” I looked up from the papers, noticing how the Elder kept fidgeting in his seat. Aja
6th of October, 2014 Alpha Xavier and I were locked in a staring contest. The scent was too close for me to ignore anymore, and I gave a soft moan of pleasure. He moved a step closer to me and my knees almost gave out. He smelled like Christmas and Thanksgiving combined. Why was I feeling like this? Then I remembered. It was my birthday. I was sixteen. As I looked into his eyes, I fell deep into them. It was like being transported into another world, and I didn’t want to come back. When his eyes darkened, I snapped out of my trance. Stupid. That’s what I was. I was staring into the eyes of the Alpha of the second biggest pack in the world. I took a step back and lowered my head in respect. “I- I apologize Alpha.” I muttered. When he said mate, he was probably calling out to Thalia. Yes, that made sense.
14th of October, 2016 I walked into the house and dumped my keys on the table. It wasn’t supposed to go like this. This wasn’t the plan. Throwing myself on the nearest couch, I huffed. Why was he looking at me like that? After everything his pack did and didn’t do, they didn’t deserve any of my kindness. A small picture of Andre stood on the coffee table beside me, and a smile crept onto my face. “I wish you were here, Andre.” My phone vibrated, breaking me out of my reverie. “Eve, there’s trouble at the Northern Woods. Some wolves are attacking rogue children!” Jake rushed out. Jake Adams, my right hand man. One of the reasons this plan has to work. I shot up from my seat. “I’m on my way.” Every single day, my powers got stronger. More dangerous.
14th of October, 2016 She was shaking. The torture that shone in her eyes tore my heart into shreds. Why was I feeling like this? Evelyn had changed. She wasn’t the scared shaking girl I had met two years ago, even now. Even as sweat built up on her forehead, I could see it. She was strong. “Evelyn…” I trailed off, moving closer to her. Her breathing was erratic and shallow. Her feet were set apart, and her body was tense. But her eyes…. Red, blue, green. They changed color over and over again. Her lips moved as she mumbled things I could barely make out. “No, no, no. Leave…. no….” Her hands moved through her hair. “No… please… I didn’t….” “It’s okay.” I was a few inches away from her now, “Calm down, Eve.” She gripped her hair in her fists and pulled hard. “Pleas
