Contract

I spent the rest of my vacation with my family in Paris. I got familiar and got to know the rest of the family. I met my grandparents and also my twin brother's mate. I met the pack Gamma, Beta, Delta, and the Head Omega. I also spent more time with my twin brother and got to know him. He wasn't a problematic Alpha but he was feared in the pack. My Trip ended and it was time for me to leave. I promised to come visit some other time, I just didn't know when but we will be in contact of course.

As I was coming out of the airport, I spotted Dad holding a bouquet to welcome me back to Rome and my heart sank. How is he going to take the news of me finding my family? I was his only family here and I intend to never leave him behind. 

"Dad!" I rushed to him to give him a hug 

"Welcome home princess," he said happily "I can see your beautiful bright smile is back".

After settling my luggage in the car, I entered the passenger sit at the front and also settled in.

"Tell all about your trip to Paris and start with how you found your family" he starts the engine. I was in extreme shock.

"How did you find out about that?" Still in shock

He told me how he had people watching me over there to be sure I was safe and I told him the whole story about how I found my family from the beginning to the end without leaving anything out.

"I always knew you were special," He said with a smile on his face

"What have you now decided to do?" 

"Nothing dad, I am comfortable living here with you. I will go there for holidays occasionally" I could see how happy and satisfied he was with my response.

When we got to the pack, I settled in my room and unpacked my bag before going out to see the Alphas. 

"Good evening Alphas" greeting the whole family with a big smile 

"Welcome back Shenaya, It's so good to see your beautiful smile again" Alpha Fernly, Aiden's mom said with a smile. H 

"Who knew a trip was all you needed" Lucy said with a big smile 

"It wasn't just the trip. Congratulations on your pregnancy" 

My blood ran cold and my face went dry

"I'm not pregnant," I said more like convincing myself rather than denying it.

"Your scent has changed, funny how you didn't notice that but go to the pack hospital to confirm" 

I looked at Alpha Leonardo and Lucy, silently asking them to confirm if my scent had changed.

"Your scent has indeed changed" Alpha Leonardo confirmed and with that, I rushed like a mad woman to the pack hospital silently wishing I wasn't pregnant with the Alpha's pup. I didn't want him to think I intentionally meant to trap him with a pup after all, to him I'm just a LOW-RANKING WEREWOLF.

I wiped the tears on my face thinking about the consequences of this pregnancy. I couldn't imagine the embarrassment my dad would have to go through.

What would I say to people in the pack? What will I say to Aiden? How will I face Alpha's fiancée, Skylar? What will I say to Alpha's families that treated me like their own? How will I defend myself that I slept with my Alpha knowing he has a mate? 

'There's no point in asking too many questions, let's get rid of this pregnancy' I convinced myself. 

'You want to kill your innocent pup because of your foolishness?' Lily questioned fear gripping me 

Just like the Alphas have said, the doctor confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. I made a mental note to sue the contraceptive company when I made money because I could remember the morning I came to this same doctor for a pill. 

"Are you sure you want to get rid of this baby?" 

"As long as it is not illegal, I am very sure of it" I confirmed 

"I want confirmation from the father of your pup too, it has to be a mutual agreement between the two of you before I can proceed with the process"

"What? Why?" 

"I wouldn't want anyone barge reporting me to the werewolf court for killing their pup unless this is a case of rape" My blood dried upon hearing this and my heart rate increased.

"Don't w……" 

"Tell me my pup is fine before I kill you and your entire family" My voice died in my mouth when the door slapped loudly almost falling and Alpha Aiden walked in with the most deadly expression.

The doctor's face widened and started shaking in fear, she looked at me with the most surprised expression not expecting me to be in her office to negotiate killing the Alpha's pup. 

'I know this man is going to kill me today' I screamed in my mind. 

"I haven't done anything Alpha," She said with a trembling voice 

Alpha Aiden held my wrist tight and faced the doctor

"If I hear anything about this in the pack, You will be thrown out of this pack without thinking about it twice"

He didn't even wait to hear the doctor's response before dragging me out. The next thing I knew I was in the back seat of his car and he was sitting beside me. 

I knew it was selfish of me to try to get rid of his pup without his permission but I was so scared so nothing I could do about it. It was the easiest way out after all. He didn't say anything to me and I didn't try to say anything. I was just crying.

Of all the people in the world, how did I get stuck with this particular Alpha?

I couldn't understand what was happening as we came down from the car. This is the registrar's office. What am I here to do? I saw my dad and his family. I wanted to run towards my dad but his grip was so tight on my wrist. 

He dragged me to an office, I saw a lawyer who was already holding a piece of paper and a pen. Alpha reached for the paper, he didn't even care to sit or read the papers, he just signed straight. 

"Your turn" giving me the pen and the paper 

"MARRIAGE CONTRACT" was boldly written on the paper

Marriage? Did I read right? 

I looked around to see everyone throwing me pity looks 

"Your father will cry over your dead body now if you don't sign these papers right now" he growled at me making me jump in fear. Tears came rushing as I signed the contract.

Why am I here?

Why didn't I stay with my family back in Paris?

Why did I ever have a one-night stand in the first place?

I knew I was in big trouble.
