Madison Willow's POV :

The scent of wet ground and the sound of birds chirping made me feel a little better. I was surrounded by trees and nature. The sound of the loud party now just felt like a slow whisper to me. Yet I could hear the screams and music blasting into the air.

My hands were still shaking and I was out of breath. My legs hurt from running and I knew that I had come too deep into the woods.

All of a sudden I felt a bone cracking sound in my body. Then another bone shifted. My eyes were blinded by tears. The pain became unbearable and I fell to my knees, gasping for air.

My skin felt like it was on fire. I wanted to get rid of those clothes on my body. But it was all too confusing. What was wrong with me?

'You are having your first heat. '

A strange voice told me. I looked around myself and didn't find anyone.

My wolf! I had a wolf. But the pain didn't give me a chance to even say hello to her. Instead, I heard the loudest sound of my bones breaking to a point where I was on all fours and my body began covering with fur.

Silver White Fur. It was shining and I smiled through the pain.

Before I knew, I was in my wolf form and howling to the moon in the skies.

'Nice meeting you, Fiona. I am Madison. '

'I know, Mady. I was always there with you.'

'But at least you are not fat.' I laughed.

'Neither are you. Anyways, let's go for a little run before your heat starts in full mode. ' She suggested.

We pranced across the wet ground and jumped over the twigs and fallen trees. Fiona was fast and a brilliant runner. She was the opposite of me. She loved woods, life and the future. I was a depressed soul with no hopes of a better life.

We reached the top of the cliff and I felt the cold air striking against my face.

For the first time, I actually felt alive. I missed mom. She should have met my sweet wolf.

The heat rippled through my fur again and I shifted back to my human form. Almost forcefully. I realized that I was naked when the cold wind touched my skin. Even then, the heat forming in my body was more powerful than the cold winds.

I laid down on the ground and rubbed the mud on my body. It didn't help much. Nothing seemed to be working now.

I had to cover myself before he would insult me in front of my mate too. But where was my mate?

'Mate! Alpha Jacob! 'Fiona was getting impatient.

It felt like a tight slap on my face. I wanted to howl in pain. He was going to reject me. I could see it in his eyes.

He tore off his shirt and unbuttoned his pants. I sat up straight, covering my breasts with my hands.

"Don't cover yourself from me. I want to see every part of your beautiful body. " He murmured.

Why was his voice always so deep and slow? Was I just imagining things now?

And he kissed me. I was shocked, thrown into the spiral of doubts. Alpha Jacob was kissing me. His hands were kneading my breasts. I was pushed back into the mud.

"Reject me. " I said, catching my breath.

I saw the pain in his eyes, " No, claim you. I will claim you now. "

The heat made my senses and thinking ability merely zero. I was lost in his eyes. Even if he was to reject me after this mating, I was not going to regret it.
