Chapter 90

She listed the wrong year. Shit! she's over a month past due for her shot. Omg, she checked when her last period was. Damn, she's five days late.

She ran to the toilet and threw up. She didn't know if she can deal with special babies. And not right now. They had discussed waiting and enjoying being married. Kids were down the road sometime later.

Maddi called her doctor office. "I need to schedule an appointment."

"We just had a cancellation for 2pm today if you can be here at that time?" The receptionist asked.

"Yes, I can. Thanks!" Maddi replied.

Then she called her best friend. "Hey Krista, are you busy?"

"Nope, what's up?" Krista asked.

"I have a doctor appointment at 2pm. Please don't say anything, but I think I'm pregnant." Maddi whispered.

"Oh wow, ok. When and where to meet?" She asked.

"I can pick you up around 1:30 if that's ok?" Maddi asked.

"How about I pick you up at 1:30? Maybe you shouldn't drive?" Krista asked.

"Ok sounds good, I'll be ready." Maddi replied.
