Chapter 55

She looked down and saw his bulge. It made her want to puke! So, she kneed him right in his bulge! He back handed her so hard she lost her footing and fell to the ground.

She managed to land on her side. She kept telling herself to focus, and don't pass out! All of a sudden, she heard other footsteps.

"You're dead!" Liam ground out through clenched teeth.

“Son, no!" Mr. Wolfe, Liam's father shouted.

"Liam man, he's not worth it!" Karl agreed.

"For what he's done to her and to kill him with my bare hands, it is so worth it!" Liam retorted.

"Son, I promise he will stand before the council and justice will be served!" Mr. Wolfe assured him.

That must have snapped him out of his rage. In seconds he was picking her up and moving towards the house. She finally passed out. The fear. the struggle, and relief hitting her all at once!
