"Remember I said your bloodline was like royalty? It's the oldest one as well. It was believed to have all the powers combined of the other 4." He explained.

"But I don't have any of those powers." She replies confused.

“There is belief from some, that if a descendant mates with a pure bloodline it can bring back those powers. And with each new generation mating with pure bloodlines, it can grow to what it once was." Liam sighed.

"If that's true, then Maddi, Caleb, the babies and me aren't safe! Even if it's not true, those that believe will still pose a danger to us!" Rayna said worriedly.

"I don't know if it's true or not. But I promised to always keep you safe, and I will." He replied.

"I don't want to be anywhere near that guy! He made my skin crawl and he really scared me. That's why I called. Liam, I needed you, and you didn't come." She replied.

"I'm so sorry, had I known it was that I would have come immediately. I promise." He replied.
