Alpha's Son

The overjoyed feeling that overwhelmed me was gone. I feel like my wolf is suffering from deep pain and I feel like throwing up because of it. I don’t know why my mate looked at me like that. Why he is not excited to see me, as if he doesn’t want me? Am I just overthinking things or he really doesn’t want me?

“No! He wants us!” My wolf shouted.

“I know, Ave. Maybe he was just shocked to see us. Maybe just like us, he doesn’t know what he will do.” I said and sighed.

I really don’t know what to think right now. My heart was shattered into tiny little pieces, however, a small curve formed in my lips. Despite all this suffering, I finally found the wolf that the Moon Goddess has given me. The one who is destined to be with me until our last breath, my mate. 

“Let’s make sure that by the next time we will see each other. We will talk to him.”

“How about let us give him his time to process everything? Maybe our mate is not that ready to be with us yet.” I answered and entered the gate. I showed my ID to the guard and bowed slightly. The guard just smiled at me and let me enter the school grounds. When I stepped inside, the huge castle-like building then greeted me. I walked towards the entrance while still talking to my wolf.

“No. We must take him!”

“Don’t be such a spoiled baby,” I said.

“For almost 6 years we waited for him and now that we found him, again, we are back to phase one? Waiting?”

I got my wolf’s point but I don’t want to force things on my mate. I want him to offer himself to me wholeheartedly. I want him to give me his body and soul without hesitations, that he really wants me.

“Please…”

I know how sad my wolf is right now. After all, we have been ignored by our own mate.

I let go of a deep sigh, “Fine. Let’s give him a few days and we will be the ones who will make the first move. Got it?”

“Really?” She asked.

“Rea--- ouch.” I groaned before I fell down on the floor.

“Watch where you’re going loser.” I looked at the person who bumped into me and saw Marionette, the girlfriend of the Alpha’s son.

I must admit, this girl is really pretty. She has almond color hair, an aquiline nose, perfectly heart-shaped lips, a light skin tone, and a maintained sexy body but do not deceive by how she looks. She is the evilest person that ever existed in this school. She loves to bully those students who have no power, like me. 

Also, as for her boyfriend, the son’s alpha, I haven’t seen him just yet. It was said that he was studying abroad and actually, I have no interest at all.

I didn’t say anything and didn’t even bother to move even an inch. I don’t want to make my life worsen anymore. 

“Look at her, what a sore in the eyes. Why does our Alpha let this kind of rank attend our prestigious school anyway? It’s disgusting.” She added.

“Right? Our alpha or I must say, your father-in-law is really a good person.” Her friend said.

Marionette is really a very dependent person. Her confidence is boosted only when she is praised by her plastic friends. I have seen her friends roll their eyes at her multiple times but she didn’t know about that, she really thought that everyone around her is loyal just because she is the alpha’s son’s girlfriend.

“Let her be. I have no time to spare right now. My boyfriend is here!” She excitedly exclaimed.

Her boyfriend? The Alpha’s son? Does that mean he finished his study?

“Really?” Her friend excitedly said.

“Yes! He even said that he will be attending our class starting tomorrow because he wants to be with me. Isn’t he the sweetest?” She spoke.

Whoever cares about that kind of thing? Duh, for sure they just want to raise their rank, especially this girl, Marionette. I slowly stood up while still looking down and didn’t bother to meet the gaze of these spoiled little brats. I have had enough with my customers, and now even here in school.

I let go of a deep sigh and looked at my shoe. It was all dirty now. I really want to go home but as long as these girls are in front of me, I can’t turn my back and let my guard down. Who knows what they will do when I am not facing them?

“So, the prince will start going with us to school from then on?” I can feel the excitement of the other girls while talking about their so-called prince. Their giggles occupied the corridor. 

Does this little princess know what her friends are after? It’s clear in their actions that they only want to meet the so-called prince of the pack and seduce him. She trusts her friends too much.

“Why do you seem overjoyed with that thought?” Marionette asked with a hint of anger in her voice. I can clearly say that she is already taking a hint at their actions. Her friends laugh nervously as if they are doomed if they will say something that will hit the sour spot of the princess.

“O-of course. You and your boyfriend will always be together, which means, we will never see you getting sad anymore.” I don’t know who this girl is but she reasons out smoothly.

The princess didn’t say anything for a couple of minutes before she answered, “Well, you are right.”

She is literally a fool.

I was about to take my leave when a familiar scent entered my nose and my wolf began to get wild.

“Mate!”

Again? 

“Babe!”

I raised my head and looked at the two people kissing each other, passionately. Marione
