EMILY:

Mia and I got back home. The first place I headed to was my room. I had not even confirmed whether Christian was at home or not, but I knew I needed sometime alone to think about everything that was raging in my head. I shut the door and headed for the bed.

I had told Mia to go watch over Lilith for sometime, at least until I was ready to step out or I was done thinking. It was already too late to stop my heart from liking Christian because no matter how much I told myself that I was simply greatful to him for the help he offered me during the worst moment of my life, I was wrong.... I liked him so very much. Maybe once, just once or twice, I had imagined what it would be like, a life with Christian, but right now, I couldn't imagine anymore. I had to stop because I would only be hurting him.

A knock was rasped on my door. The first person that came to my mind was Mia. "Come in." I uttered, but when the door was opened, Christian was standing at the entrance. I stared at him bu

So glad you decided to continue the book author. I had to go back and re-read some chapters to remind myself of the stories plot, but I’m glad the story is back on again.

TYLER:I stepped into the restaurant with hardly anybody in it, and that was when I spotted Talia. She was on a black jean jacket, glasses, and a face cap."Come this way."She uttered to me, leading the way to a corner where we were going to have our discussion. I reluctantly followed behind. The only use that I had for her at the moment was her effort in the same thing I wanted. We were trying so hard to separate Emily and that fucking bastard whose identity has always been hidden. I knew I was no match for Christian so I had to be faster and smarter. I had to be a few steps ahead of him if I wanted Emily back. "So what's wrong? I don't have all day to waste, Talia.""And neither do I. You had a simple job. She was right at your grasp and yet you fucking loosed her. Why the fuck am I still trying hard and working with you for damn sake."I scoffed aloud hearing her speak. "You fucking don't know who I am, Talia.""Oh, I do....I do know everything about you and one of the most import

CHRISTIAN:I sat in my office staring at the paper which laid in front of me. I was simply trying hard to get my mind off last night because even as I tried so much to deny what I felt, I knew I wanted her, I wanted all of Emily last night and I barely controlled myself. My wolf was crazy I was crazy as well. I saw Emily at her weakest yesterday and I simply wanted to be there for her. For the first time in a long time, for the first time since I lost my mate, I felt I had to protect someone, I had to keep her safe, and most importantly, I had to make her happy again. This feeling, I never wanted to have them again, but after a long time, I found Emily and now I'm not willing to let her go.I heaved deeply, picking up the paper in front of me so I could concentrate, but Emily's face kept sticking to my mind. It was like I could see her standing right in front of me and smiling at me in the most beautiful manner ever. I wanted to hold her tight, to kiss her forehead, and to tell her t

"OR, WHEN YOU DO SEE THIS, THEN IT MEANS I'M GONE, BUT BELIEVE ME, I'LL CONTINUE TO WATCH YOU FROM WHEREVER I AM.... THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO SAY TO YOU CHRISTIAN, BUT ABOVE ALL, THANK YOU..." A tear slid from my eyes, and at that instance, I knew I couldn't continue writing. I just had to stop and maybe continue some other day but I was scared that I would be gone anytime. All the moon goddess wanted was for me to find a second chance mate and understand that there's always happiness elsewhere. She wanted me to understand that even after everything that had happened, I still deserved happiness and I deserved a second chance mate. All my life, I was made to believe that nothing like that ever existed or that there wasn't anything like fated mate, but maybe she simply wanted me to see it for myself and I did like she wanted.I dropped the ink on the table and rose to my feet, taking a deep breath in and out. The paper had been kept in between one of my books because I wanted

AUTHOR'S POV:Mia halted her car right in front of the mall's parking lot and stepped down from it. She let out a wide smile, as she stared at the environment. How long had it been since she last came to this mall to get some super expensive items with her brother's card? Mia had watched her brother sink into darkness after losing his mate, she watched him let go of everything that he had leaving everything in the hands of Shane simply because he thought he couldn't continue without his mate. CHRISTIAN:Halfway home, I felt a very sharp pain around my chest before realizing that my heart was also hurting so bad. Unable to continue driving, I had to pause the car and step down to take a deep breath in and out. Something was wrong and I could feel it. It was like there was a boundary, but I could still feel it.I took a deep breath in and tried to ask myself what was wrong, but Kyle spoke to me, "It's our mate!" My eyes instantly turned red, making me try to feel Emily's mind, but I couldn't. It was blank, and I couldn't even feel her. With enough speed, I rushed back into the car, ignited the engine, and drove away.My shaky hands reached for my phone, but they were unable to switch it on. I got a grip of my fingers and switched on my phone. When I found Emily's number, I quickly dialled it praying deep down that Emily would answer the call so I would become calm a bit and not just head back home looking like this. The third time the phone rang, nobody answered, and when I

TYLER:I had just finished signing the last paper and handed it over to Zane."So how was it? Did you meet her?" Zane nodded his head, making me let out a small smile. I was certain that I could trust Zane and what he was capable of doing, after all, he was my beta and no one knew him better than me."Keep following her, Zane, and you know what to do after that. I hope you also know your boundary?" As soon as he nodded his head, I rose to my feet. I could use Mia to get a lot of information if Zane gets her in his grasp. That was all that I wanted at the moment, and if I got everything I needed on Christian, then I would strike first. Some of his weak spot was all that I needed."I need to get going now, Zane. What about Karen?""She's still that way, and she hasn't said a word to any of the maids taking care of her, and she hardly takes her meal. Sometimes she speaks to herself and...""That's enough, Zane. If you badly want me to go see her just say so and stop using this tactic."

AUTHOR’S POV.“Please just stay still babe,” Tyler uttered as he got down from his car and headed straight for the back seat where Karen lay.He opened the car door quickly and wrapped Karen around his hands while he rushed as fast as his legs could carry him inside. “Somebody please help, my wife, is in labor,” Tyler yelled out. Dr. Grace and her team of nurses arrived with haste, quickly relieving Tyler of Karen's weight and transferring her to a wheeled stretcher. In no time, the procession quickly carried Karen away.“Just sit here sir, I assure you, she will be fine,” Grace mentioned before leaving for Karen's ward. Tyler felt his heart beat so fast and hard. As he sat on the visitors' seats, he could hear Karen's loud groan from the operating room. He sprang to his feet, his eyes burning with anxiety as he began to pace around the room. In a moment of desperation, he closed his eyes and clasped his hands together, silently asking the moon goddess for a positive outcome.“Ple

CHRISTIAN’S POV.“Let's talk outside,” I said to Blake as he glanced at me. “Stay here Lilith,” I whispered, placing her back on the visitor's seat. I walked outside immediately while Blake trailed behind me. The air practically crackled with my anger as I faced Blake, my hands clenching into fists at my sides itching to strike him.“Why, Blake?” I snarled. “Why would you break my sister’s heart?”. He kept his gaze trained on the floor, remaining silent.“Look at me!” I shouted, my voice laced with contempt. “Tell me why you did it! Do you have any idea what she's been through?”Finally, Blake looked up, his expression one of shame and regret. “I’m sorry, Christian,” he murmured, his voice barely audible. My blood boiled at the sight of his pathetic attempt at an apology.“Sorry?” I spat, my eyes blazing with rage. “You think that’s enough? Mia sacrificed herself to save you, even after everything you did to her, and all you can say is I’m sorry?”I could feel my hands trembling, a

TYLER'S POV.I sat next to Blake and Christian's cousin, Lilith. As I looked down at her, her little eyes were swollen already. “Hey, are you okay?” I questioned but she didn't even blink an eye to show that she was alright. “they’re going to be okay.” I declared. I inhaled a deep breath and shut my eyes deeply, calling the moment Emily was being stabbed. Christian had been furious and controlled by his anger. Maybe I wasn't the one Emily deserved it be with, after all, maybe Christian was her real mate. The way he sliced Talia's throat within the blink of an eye proved how much he loved and cared about Emily. Truly, Christian was the greatest and most powerful lycan that had ever existed. He fought with full strength and emotions and no one could ever defeat him. He would always win every single battle that came his way because he was born of Lycan blood.I opened my eyes wide as soon as I heard Christian’s voice. He walked out of a room that had a short description of “staff

CHRISTIAN’S POV I stood frozen unable to take my gaze off Emily as she dropped down to the floor. I could feel my heart beating so fast and I couldn't breathe well anymore. My crawls came running out of my fingers and I felt like I wasn't in control of myself anymore. I was still in human form but fur grew slowly on my face. “We can now be together Chris.” I heard Talia's voice. With annoyance, I sped off where she stood and grabbed her neck tightly. You're such a monster.” I barked. “It's time for you to leave this earth as well.” I declared as my grip on her neck worsened. “Please Christian, I did this for our love.” Talia cried out but it only worsened the pain even more.I wasn't in control anymore and the moment my eyes gleamed again, I slit her throat with my fingers and threw her lifeless body far away. Tears dropped down from my eyes as I averted my gaze back to where Emily lay on the floor.Lilith sat close to her, holding her hand tightly. I felt a drop of water on my

AUTHOR’S POV.Christian arrived at the imposing building and immediately stomped through the front door, in annoyance. His frustration grew when he was interrogated by a group of bodyguards who searched his body for weapons. Finding nothing, they finally ushered him into a large, cold room where he spotted Mia and Emily bound to chairs. With a swift motion, Christian freed them from their restraints, but before they could even thank him, a familiar figure entered the room. His blood ran cold instantly as I recognized the pale, arrogant features of Roland and some others. Roland stood before them, and his eyes narrowed in anticipation.“Ah, Christian,” he drawled, his voice dripping with false cordiality. “I’m so glad you could join us.”“Let us go,” Christian snapped, his anger barely contained. “You’ve no right to hold us captive like this..” “On the contrary,” Roland replied with a widening smile. “You decided not to yield to our warnings. Why don't you just join me and the othe

TYLER’S POV.I opened my eyes and sat straight up on the bed. I felt very different and somehow happy. I wasn't going to lay in bed throughout the day because Karen was here now. With a deep breath, I stood to my feet and walked straight to the bathroom. Karen had woken up early and left my room. I washed up a little and stepped out of my room quickly. While I took the staircase, I spotted Mia and Emily standing in the living room and it seemed like they were both waiting for me. “Hey, good morning,” I uttered as I walked towards where they both stood. “Morning,” Karen responded first, and then Emily. “I need your help Tyler, I need to warn Christian about Alpha Damon's plans and help with fighting every single person that's after him,” Emily said. I glanced at her for a moment and as our eyes locked, I could feel the pain within her. She was really worried about Christian. She still had the same sparkling eyeballs. All I could see right now was my Emily from a few months ago.

EMILY'S POV.I held Lilith's hand firmly while Mia stood next to me. We waited outside for a few minutes until when Karen arrived. “Hey, Emily.” She waved from afar. I turned to face Mia and began to speak. “Alright Mia, the one thing I need you to do right now is to get to the plane safely with Lilith,” I ordered and bent to Lilith's level. “I'll see you soon baby, mummy can't go with you now,” I said, rising straight up. “What about you Emily,” Mia questioned.I smiled warmly at her and cuddled her tightly. “I have something urgent to do right now.” With that, I turned quickly to meet Karen. We both stepped out of the airport glass door and walked straight to Karen's car. As we climbed in, Karen turned on the engine and we drove to Tyler's place quickly. ________________TYLER’S POV. Karen assured her.For a while, she glanced at the mirror before her and smiled. Lisa had made sure she looked beautiful before she was finally going to see Tyler today. “I'm just saying bestie, you shouldn't just trust anyone that easily especially your husband's ex-wife.”Karen heaved deeply as soon as she heard Lisa's words. “There is absolutely nothing to worry about besides, Emily had finally moved on and she has a family of her own now. so we are both helping ourselves out.”Karen paused and held Lisa's hand gently. “I know you care so much about me but I think it is the right time to leave your place now.”“I'm not complaining Karen.” Lisa's tone was soft and low as she darted her gaze to the floor.“Yeah, I know but still, thank you so much for everything Lisa you are the best.” After that, Karen pulled herself up and came closer to

She began to speak. “From the look of things, I know who you both are after and I'm willing to help you,” she uttered and smiled warmly.“I could make Christian finally come to you on a condition that you get rid of that slot that's always with him.” As Talia spoke, they both raised their brows in surprise.“Do you mean the doctor from earlier?” One of them mentioned and Talia nodded ahead happily.“Yeah, Emily!” She exclaimed. “However, I do have a very good plan and if you are willing to join hands with me, then it shall be carried out the day after tomorrow.” Talia watched silently as one of them drew close to where she stood and
