Chapter 24

Theda POV

As I regained consciousness, my eyelids fluttered open slowly. The throbbing pain that had engulfed my body after the blow I got from the vicious wolf which had made me slip into unconsciousness seemed to have subsided.

I thought If possible I was going to wake up, it would be with excruciating pains and cracked bones, but I felt fine.

Meanwhile, where was I?

My focus shifted to my surroundings. As I tilted my eyes, I was met with a sight that made my heart skip a beat. Standing right beside me was Alpha Tyler.

His presence was both intimidating and captivating and I couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions at the moment.

Although he seemed like he wanted to smile upon seeing me stare at him, but, he restrained himself. Instead, he spoke in a dominant yet caring voice.

"You're awake." His voice was filled with care and laced with genuine care when he asked, "Are you okay?"

I managed to nod in response despite the sharp pain I felt below my cheekbone. I guess it was due
