Theda POV

Never in my wildest imagination have I ever imagined that the Alpha was going to choose me to be his partner to go to an Alphas party.

I knew they were other pretty she-wolves in the packhouse and Adriana was quite the best figure to accompany him, not an Omega slave like me.

Two days went by like the wind, I was treated with care. The few minutes I had alone with the Alpha was the best of all. He always had a way of extending the time we shared alone for no reason.

Or maybe it was just in my head.

In the afternoon of the third day, I walked out of the house, coming into the entrance, I saw the Alpha and his Beta, Blake engaged in a fierce spar. I got entranced by the sight.

I couldn't help but admire the muscular physique of both men as they moved around each other, their bodies glistening with sweat in the bright sunlight.

The Alpha's brown hazel eyes caught my attention. Their upturned shape gave him a mischievous look that made my heart flutter for no reason. While Blake

Tyler POV I was in my room thinking about the party that would start about three hours from now, and I was ready for it. I didn't know what was going on and what would happen, but something told me that the Alpha King would not just call for a banquet. Something was telling me that it was not right, and my instincts seemed to be flowing in the depths of basicity. Blake walked into the room, handing over to me the expensive suit he had specially prepared for me and was smiling. "That kind of smile running across your lips tells me that you're ready for a mate tonight," I teased. "Well, this is not a Blood Moon or the fucking gathering that we attend every year. This is a special banquet to celebrate the Alpha King and his so-called son." "You can find your mate anywhere, you know. I've heard of people who found their mates where they never expected it. It's an opportunity to find the other you, the half of yourself, and you have to grab it." "Well, enough of the lecture. Whet

Tyler POV The bitch was obviously planning on terminating Theda. No way! "Adriana!" I growled, startling her. She looked up at me with shock. Adriana's hands slipped off her grips and she quickly took them and was about to pull Theda into the vault but I rushed to her. I sent her flying down to a corner of the room as I ferociously gave her a backhand slap. I glanced at her as she coughed out blood before closing the vault and lifting Theda up. She was unconscious. Oh, my world. I never thought Adriana could be this malevolent. She had gotten Theda unconscious and brought her to this room. The vault - 'Souls Dungeon' is a chilling and foreboding vault, tucked away at the rear of the room. Despite its relatively small size, measuring nearly half the dimensions of the room, its ominous presence casts a dark shadow over the entire room. Just as the name implies, it is a place where the essence of life and vitality is mercilessly drained away, leaving behind only emptiness and de

Tyler POVFirst, I should ask how she's doing. "Theda, are you okay?" She nodded and struggled to sit up until I helped her. When she looked around, astonishment showed On her face and I could tell she was wondering where she was."You're in my room," I informed her, almost in a light whisper. She nodded and touching the back of her head, she winched. I had to know what had gotten her unconscious."Theda, who made you unconscious?""I don't know. I was in the room when I sensed someone's presence, I was about to turn around and see who it was before I got stricken.""You didn't see the person's face?" Blake asked. I could sense the curiousness in his voice.Theda shook her head and looked away as if recalling something or trying to remember something."I only know it was a female. Through the haze, I had vaguely made out the figure of a girl. I'm not sure who it was."I gave Blake a stare and he understood what I was trying to say to him."I know, I guess it's Adriana," he mindlinke

Theda POV Seeing Alpha Prince Caddel wasn't what I would term as good luck. It was a pure omen. If I hadn't gotten too overwhelmed earlier, I would have thought it well to ask Alpha Tyler if the Alpha Princes would be present at the party.Earlier I was lost when he was approaching us and filling my eyes with the environment. My excitement Instantly vanished when I caught his gaze. I felt suddenly uncomfortable.Who wouldn't be?The Alpha prince, Caddel, was the monster who almost bought me and he was in front of me. It gave me creeps the way he stared at me. His sly eyes proved his foxy nature. I didn't know what made me do it but I clenched my fist when he kept on smiling. I wanted to punch him right in the face and say- 'Take your rotten eyes off me.'When he called out to me in a sort of lascivious manner, I was forced to gulp and I sought confidence by tightening my wrapped arm around the alpha's arm.I didn't bother to look up to see his reaction."You must be Theda, right?" Theda POVWas I going to be resold to this beasty Alpha prince? Watching the calmness in the alpha's eyes, I felt so and that caused my heart to start racing. I had no idea of what was going to come next. The suspense was killing me slowly as I watched both of them stare at each other until things got intensified when Prince Caddel motioned to his brother.Prince Damien snapped his fingers and someone approached us. I guess he was one of the Betas. He held up a briefcase, opened it, and showed it to Alpha Tyler. My eyes grew a bit bigger as I saw the bundles of money stacked in it. "Alpha Tyler, that's a million dollars. I'm paying double to have her as mine.""She's not worth that," the Alpha uttered, and my eyes grew bigger as I stared at him. What did he mean? Wait, was he trying to portray that I don't worth a million dollars? Meaning I'm kind of worthless?'Don't drive into conclusion,' Tanya advised and I ogled at the Alpha Prince as he clapped his hands above his head."You're

Standing before the railings, Aunt Jael seemed composed, but I could sense an undercurrent of concern. Tentatively, I approached her, my unease palpable.
