“He knows that Paige is his mother?" Mom asked in surprise.

“Shouldn’t he know that?” I asked in surprise.

“He never confronted me about that,”

“You haven’t given birth to him, but he has your behaviors,” I pointed out with a smile. “By the mom, why did Aunt Paige?"

“Let’s not talk about it, Nicole. And it will be better if you keep your curiosity at bay, or you will end up ruining Paige’s life." She snapped at me, making me sad. She sighed before speaking. “It’s not that Paige’s life will be ruined, but it won’t be good for Fred as well."
