The pain in my head had disappeared as fast as it had come so that was a relief at least. But still, my entire body was aching. I felt weak, and a little shaky.
Dylan and Anna had scowls on their faces, but the moment I stepped up on the hill, both of them ran to me with some pack members who were cheering for me.
“You were about to win! You almost made Curtis a loser, Light! I never knew that you are so great at running!” one of the boys cheered, slapping my shoulder.
