ARES’S POV

I had no idea what my uncle was saying or why he was saying it, but nothing was going to make me believe that Dahlia was the one who had tried to poison me. No way, that was just absurd thinking from my uncle!

“He's got to be kidding me, that’s the lamest thing I’ve heard in a while.” Leo remarked and I couldn’t agree more with him.

Although I didn’t react how I felt, something was off with my uncle. I could just feel it, maybe he wasn’t in the right state of mind and the person he kept seeing in his head was Dahlia. Or maybe it was a dream, maybe he had dreamt about Dahlia and interpreted it as her being the culprit. Whatever it was, I wasn’t going to believe him so easily, no way.

“Oh common, uncle. What are you saying? Dahlia?” I asked with a bewildered look on my face.

“Of course, everyone can be a suspect, can’t they? But you haven’t gotten closer to the truth because you haven’t included your so called Luna on the list.” He replied, dragging on his cigar
