KALILA’S POV For about a day or two, Ares and I didn’t talk to each other, I was still furious with the way he had reacted the day I came back. From the way he was comfortable with not talking to me, I figured that he was also angry with the way I had spoken to him. I was quite curious as to why he didn’t react as he would have normally done, but just maintained a calm profile, it was very unlike him. I had avoided him like a plague, I never walked past his study which I knew he’d be in and might just come out of anytime. I even spent most of my afternoons in the large garden, surrounded completely with pine trees, it was the best I could do for myself and all I had was Nova. She wasn’t just my only companion for that period of time, save for Angela’s sporadic appearances when ever she wanted to inquire if I needed anything.
