KALILA POV

He was dressed in all black, a pair of brown riding boots, and a brown hat on his head, although he looked absurd, he still looked very charming.

“You’re like a damn grim reaper. What are you doing? And why do you have that vulgar hat on?” I asked when I had regained a little of my composure.

“Vulgar? This hat belonged to my father.” He exclaimed, touching the tip of the hat and trying to adjust it to fit his head.

“Just because it belonged to your father, doesn’t mean it’s pretty. You look ridiculous.” I said and walked into the bathroom.

I washed my face, brushed my teeth and headed out of the bathroom. Ares was still in the room when I came back and I asked.

“Where are you going dressed like that?” I asked, he was looking like a cowboy.

“Horse riding.” He said and asked. “Why don’t you join me?”

And get killed? I thought. I have never ridden a horse in my life and from the little knowledge I had of Ares and the fact that he was almost perfect at everything, I knew
