Chapter 9

"Hurry up!" She demanded.

She led me to the garden at the back of the house and I walked slowly behind her. It was already evening and a bit dark in this part of the house, someone could be easily murdered here and no one would know.

"Over there." she said pointing. "I can only accompany you to this point." she said as she turned to leave.

"What! Why can't you go with me?" I said grabbing her arms.

"Why are you overreacting?" she said with a shocked expression on her face.

"Please I can't possibly go alone." I said pleading with my soul.

"Jeez, let go already, and hurry up before the master gets annoyed." she said forcefully escaping my grip as she walked away.

I saw a silhouette at the other end of the garden. I searched around for anything I could use to defend myself and I saw a stick on the ground which I grabbed quickly. A stick was probably useless against this fierce Alpha but I could at least inflict some injuries on him. I walked slowly towards him with the stick close to me.
