Chapter 228

Bailey's POV

I ran quickly through the forest, passing the fighting wolves and jumping over them and tree trucks. Bodies littered the ground and my eyes filled with tears. I blinked them away and continued to run. I had to find Grey.

I sniffed the air and finally caught his scent and took a turn in the forest. I continued to run and then, I tripped on something. I fell to the ground but got up quickly dusting myself off. I turned to look at what tripped me up and I was horrified. It was Ryna! But she was in her wolf form. Her scent was unmistakable and her head had nearly been ripped from her body. Her tongue stuck out of her mouth and I looked at her silently. She deserved what she got.

I continued to run towards Grey's scent and soon, I saw something in a distant clearing.

A large black wolf had a person in his mouth and was shaking him violently. He let go and the body hit a rock and crumpled to the ground. I sniffed the air again and was immediately seized with dread.
