Chapter 220

Bailey's POV

The next day was absolutely busy. The pack house was a beehive of activity and I felt like I was left out of it all. The guards and warriors were out training and some councilors were helping to get some wolves out of the pack with their families. I was alone in my room. I had had breakfast and was simply bored. I wanted to be part of te activity. In two days, the war was to start. My mum was already packing and she was frantic.

I sat on my bed and heard footsteps approach my door. I was immediately silent and listened for a voice but no voice came. I continued to watch the door intensely and suddenly a paper was passed under my door. I look at it and was a bit nervous to pick it up.

The paper lay there limp on the floor and soon, I couldn't stop myself. I walked over to the door and picked it up. It was folded into crisp neat squares and it smelled of rosemary.

I opened it slowly and looked at the writing. It was neat and precise.
