Alpha Grey's POV

I woke up so late. The sun was already up and it shone bright on my face through the windows. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I began to think of when I had fallen asleep. My hand brushed something beside me and I saw that it was the book that I was reading. I had fallen asleep while I was reading it. As I opened it and glossed over the picture again, the thought of Bailey popped into my head. She had probably gone to school.

I groaned as I dragged myself out of bed. I was up late in the archives looking for the codex and I had barely gotten enough sleep. There was a knock at my dooor.

"Who is it?"

The door opened with a creak and Recce popped his head in.

"You're still in bed? Gosh what were you doing all night?"

"I was in the archives. I thought I would do some searching and try and help us cover more ground."
