Chapter 146

Bailey's POV

"Oh hell no!"

I couldn't be late for the test. There was no way that I was prepared to fail my favourite subject in the whole world. I jumped out of bed as fast as could and ran into the shower. I had barely spent two minutes in there bathing and brushing my teeth. I zoomed out and put on the first pair of jeans and shirt that I could find in my wardrobe. I didn't even have time to comb my hair; Greek History was way more important than getting my hair in order. I looked at my phone; I had fifteen minutes left. I threw my phone and books into my bag and flung myself down the stairs and out the front door. I barely had time to greet mum and dad, who were both having tea in the kitchen and talking like new lovers which explains why my secondary alarm, my mum, didn't wake me up this morning.

She was always a late riser whenever her and dad got busy in bed.

"Hi mum. Hi dad. Bye mum. Bye dad."

And like a flash, I whizzed out the front door. I ran as fast as my legs could carry
