"Have a safe journey, my babies." Freya kissed both Alex and me, goodbye and we headed off to the forest. Alex gave me a little idea about our trip last night. For now, we have to cross the forest which touches the other Alpha's territory. Ombra is located in the heart of the island and we have to reach the edge of the island. That's what makes us wander in the jungles.
After hours of walking my legs are nowhere able to stir a step. How enormous is this damn island? Not coming to finish. "Can we breathe for a second? My legs are killing me already. How come you are not bothered even a little bit, man?" I complained as I held a tree for support before going to sit underneath its shades.
He shrugged casually, not even sweating a bit where I'm all wet in my sweat. Damn this man is super cool
It's been an hour since he left me alone to wait till he comes back. And more depressing is not being able to enjoy the heavenly beauty surrounding me. All thanks to my arrogant Alpha man, he commanded me not to but I do dare to let my taste buds have a sip of this heaven. My vision clouded as my taste buds bloom off with the sweetness of it. Next I heard a scream piercing the calmness of heaven, which made me realize I invited my death with my own hands. A slow death… a helpless feeling creeping my insides as with each passing second my body leaves my soul. What's left behind is the picture of a pair of golden eyes ready to destroy whatever comes in his way… ***
Amber P. O. V We jumped in the cascading light falling over the water. Though I'm not a professional swimmer, I did follow suit. Within a blink of an eye, the water vanished to be taken over by the land of white, so full of life with greenery around. Significance of fairy tales, land covered with fluffy white as far as your gaze can take in. A castle made with white and blue marbles surrounded by an enormous garden decorated with varieties of flowers and five elegant beautiful structures covering the outer circle of fountains where some fairies are playing with water. The whole place is crying beauty and magic as with each step we are taking inside the land of fairies. Storybook doesn't do any justice while describing these magical creatures. Their charm is beyond what words can describe, different colors o
Okay, it does make me worried but I follow her instructions and think about that pair of blood-red eyes with gold in them.A wave of power surge through my body before the pain of thousands of stabs pierce a blood thrilling scream from my mouth. All I can see is blood…..all around me. People are fighting with each other, the sound of clinking metal against each other and arrows piercing the air mixed with the blood-curdling screams and grunts of warriors. Blood is spilled on the once pure ground, coloring it scarlet.I know this dream. I had seen this so many times. The only difference is that it is real and not a dream anymore and I can see this brutality with my own bare eyes. And can smell the hard scent of blood in the air which makes me gagged.Sea of p
Archi P. O. VToday's one of the special days of my life and I want to make it most special for both of us expect myself to be a relationship with the man who does not belong to my world but look here I am this is sometimes life gives you different from what you ask and there is always a good reason behind everything happens now I can say that this is more than what I asked for.Coming from a middle-class family, you know how to work hard and sacrifice to reach your goals. Due to lack of resources and a shoulder to cry on. I learned to depend on myself pretty early in my life and after I left my family for my career it was a turning point in my life. I never thought I'd find a good person in my life who is willing to spend his whole life with me, love me, cherish me, and care for me.And coming to know that your sou
"I wasn't ready back then. I thought that was all just a dream which would vanish if I dared to touch it.""And what about now?" He asked once I keep quiet, waiting for his response. Though I don't know what I am expecting him to say, maybe something or anything that is going through his mind.My gazes don't flutter while he's burning deep, searching in my soul for the answers to his question. I thought I was ready to admit it out loud but my voice came out in little whispers, "I'm regretting not giving myself that one chance."His eyes start glittering with hope. He cupped my face with his hands, brought our faces so close to each other our breaths were mingling with each other. "Are you intending to say, you want us to give us a fair chance?" He whispered in front of my lips.
I was too busy to answer his question, my sole focus was on his hands. His touch is setting fire on my insides, sending the electric waves running wild. His hands are exploring the forbidden territory of my skin causing a moan to skip out of my lips. His name from my lips serves as encouragement for him to go further, carry on with his exploration as if I'm an artifact and he is a historian eager to find out all the secrets about me.His fingers run down and down, passing the threshold of my panties, making silk material of my panties to rub against my wet channels. I hissed at the effect which turns in the soft muffled voice when the next sensation takes over my body. I wasn't aware when my eyelids closed on their own accord but I don't need to see what this man is doing with my body. He is making me putty in his hands and I'm willing to be.
Okay, The woman I was searching for and thought of her as my birth mother is one of the legendary guardians, and more shocking is that according to Anemia none of that bloodline survived that war.And what about me? Who am I? She was my birth parent, or not?Tears of frustration leaked out of my eyes with thousands of questions nagging inside my mind and no answer available, nor a trace of hope to find any. I ran out of the room, wanting to be alone for a sake. I came here with so much hope, I thought finally I will get all the answers but no way, who am I kidding with? I'm standing at the exact spot from where I started.I was lost in myself to hear the footsteps following behind me to an unknown hallway. Alex pulled me in his warm embrace, worrying flashing over his handsome features as seeing me crying, it
"Are you out of your mind! I'm telling you it's not an option and I'm not letting you go there at any cost. Even a high ranking creature can't survive that climate and cross those barriers and you haven't come near using your powers yet." Alex keeps rambling about how weak I'm and how this is a mission impossible. Anemia was at gain to excuse herself with a silly excuse, leave us here to fight our way out of it."But we never know until we give it a shot! And didn't you hear what Anemia said? This is our last chance for God sake! We should try at least once, I don't want to regret it my whole life if I never tried and return home with answers I was looking for." Call me stubborn all you want. But I want to do it, isn't it bad enough to not know about my origin and feel like an outsider among a crowd of millions? This is my last chance and I'm not letting it go.
We were standing in front of the huge arc-shaped rock. This place is ancient as you can tell by the unknown language runes carved on it. This is known as the portal. I'm feeling blessed right now, not knowing from how long we waited for this dream to come true. Today it's finally happening. I nodded toward Ammy to start it. It's a ritual she has to perform, one last thing to do. She placed her hand on the rune engraved as the sign of hand and lit the torch which is well known as the soul key, in the black space of arc. Rays of light took the shape of a huge circle filling the gap between the arc. The sound of gasping filled the background as everyone in this cave looked at the gateway with wet eyes. I can't explain in words what my heart is going through right at this moment. I never felt this before, this is beyond what I can understand, something new found. I ordered the children and females of my clan to become the f
Ammy P. O. V All other voices stopped except the rhythm of water flowing from the fountain and the jingling of the key fighting with air surrounding it. And then it happens, it moves from the prescribed place and flies in my direction. I didn't let my control waiver just a little more and it will be mine. The key is about to reach the glass barrier when suddenly it's frozen in its place. How could it happen? Shit! I got the answer to my questions when I heard a horrible scream and turned to look towards the person from whom it's coming. It was coming from that female guard whose eyes are stuck at the soul key. if I am not wrong so she is controlling the soul key as I did seconds ago. She is using all her powe
The silence here is scary, however, I keep walking to the source of light. I was right, the thing illuminating the whole place is the soul key. It's flying in the air, over the white marble fountain of red water. An orange glow shooting out of it complimenting the bright sun. I slowly open my eyes and this time a visible glass wall from around the fountain and inside standing a woman wearing a red hood, smiling chilling in my way, it raises goosebumps over my skin in anticipation of what's about to come next… "Well, well look what we have here… what's a little human born doing here? Have you lost my dear human?" Her words sound honey-dipped however not in agreement with her sharp features. I let my eyes waver over the woman standing in front of me, taking over
Ammy P. O. V I flinched and pulled myself backward with each step this horrible creature took forward toward me. His dark eyes are getting darker with the anticipation of the hunt, scaring me even more. No matter how hard I tried to deny it, but that's it. I have nowhere to run now. Death is here to embrace me in its darkness, this is my final moment. I dare to let my eyes anticipate the fall I would have to take if I step an inch backward from the heights I am standing at. It's beyond my range if wouldn't for the beast blocking my way. I have just been looking for another way to reach the secret cave in the deep end of the mountain core. It happened in the blink of an eye. In the next second, I tightly shut
Alex P. O. V the sound of thumping is the main cause I forced open my eyes to stop this annoying voice. My head is bursting and with each second this voice magnified itself to the next level. It's fucking annoying. This headache! A loud groan came out of my mouth and I forced open my eyes to take a look at the surroundings I'm in. The rotten smell of iron and dirt entered my nostrils. I can easily recognize it anywhere. It's underground dungeon cell and clinging of the silver bound around my hands and feet are just enough to prove me right. I raised my head from the metal ground beneath me to evaluate my cell and locate 2 guards who were trying to hide themselves as they peeked through from the other sides of the bars. It's hard to not notice their trembling bodies and the way their hands clutch the sword. It ama
Ammy P. O. V What a weird coincidence it is. I'm standing in the same spot from where I started. The same spot from where I started my discovery was the answer to the questions I was looking for. This time I'm not going to be scared, I know the danger involved in it but the reward is worth it too. And I will be grateful if I help all the people here who consider themselves responsible for the crimes that they never had done. If you are thinking I have some epic idea so no you are wrong. I have no plans, no backups, nothing well prepared, but I have that one thing that can help you do whatever you want to do in your life and that is willpower. I'm willing to do this. No, it's no more for the answers I was looking for but it's more for the lives of so many people who showed kindness towards me even thou
Ammy P. O. V The sound of metal lock clicking made contact with my eardrums. In the darkness of a cold cell, even a pin drop noise magnifies to the next level. I snapped my neck in that direction and blinked many times to clear my view to lock at the person entering inside the cell. For my human sight, it's not easy to make out an image in the dark, all I can make out is the silhouette of a tall figure. But it's not enough to tell who this person is. "Who's there?" I asked in confusion when that person didn't utter a word and just stood there observing me from far away. Despite answering my question, loud footsteps moved in my way, making me scrunched back in my seat, in the back of the corner of the cell. Silver l
Ryn P. O. V I begged my father to listen to me, to give us a chance to explain but he didn't listen a single word and ordered his guards to lock me in my room. The relationship between my father and me was limited to our clan business. We are not like normal father-daughter. Even at home we only talked to each other when it related to the clan's work. I don't feel bad about it anymore, I already passed that point and made peace with myself. I was aware of what was going to happen. That's why I had already formed a counter plan to cope with it. If they are thinking I'm going to stay here to cry my eyes out or feel sorry so it's their fault. I jumped on my feet and grabbed my weapons out of the drawer to stuff it in my leather boats. Before I make my way to
Ammy P. O. V Things get messy, the crowd gets afraid to heat up as the minutes pass by. With Ryn out of the picture and a heated argument going on between two Alphas, the room's temperature is pretty much heated. We don't want to make things more complicated. But I don't know how to clear up this misunderstanding. It's hard to break the belief upon which these people have been living here for centuries. If I were in their shoes I would have the same mindset. I can't even imagine the burden each and every one carries here on their souls as Ryn. They all are tagged with the label of prisoner's for the actions which are not done by them. These people keep locked here far away from the normal life that other species of Darkland are enjoying, when these
